I've been to this restaurant several times in the two months I've been here. It can get very busy during dinner, so reservations are advised. It has a bit of a California ambience. It is the only place I've found in Almaty with a good...and reliable wine selection. We usually order tapas and share. So far our favorites are Peking Duck tacos, spinach fingers, and the bruschetta set. My daughter loves their salads.More

Came here with quite high expectations based on previous reviews, but the food is just OK. Quite tasty but there are a lot of better places in Almaty. The horse burger was nice but did not come with a black bun as listed on the...menu. Also, coffee was expensive but not that great.More

Since salon de Provence joined Wine Cafe it became a really good place! It has big variety of food, wine and magnificient service! DJ music is also a bonus here, but it's not loud, just about comfortable. Love every single detail of interior, love the...cheese, love the wine. Totally worth visiting despite of higher prices than usual.More

Now he we have a good place to eat, drink and chill out. The food is varied and always very good. The drinks menu is vast with many good wines and of course there is the Line Brew beer which is always a must. Music...is chill out and relaxing which compliments the decor surroundings of this cafe. Excellent service and good prices make Wine Cafe a very popular and reliable place to eat, drink and relax.More

Tastefully designed restaurant with some cool features. More importantly - good food - had the horse burger, which was delicious. Service attentive and prices reasonable. Extensive wine list, and variety on the menu.

Almaty is not really your foodie city, that is why I was pleased that I found this restaurant. We came as a big company of 10, were quickly seated and served. The restaurant has a broad spectrum of foods of different countries. There are oyetsrers,...Thai, American and Medirrenean dishes in the menu. We ordered lots of starters and mains. None of starters disappointed, everything was fresh and well cooked. The mains were a mixed picture. The meats were good, but I was disappointed with my Kiev chicken. The staff were great, both the waiting staff and both sommeliers. Great choice of wines, less so of beer. Definitely , I wil visit when I am back to Almaty.More

It has been a while sine I have been - it was still My Cafe then - but the big change behind the new name is the retail element, so my review should still be accurate. Hands-down, the Black Burger (made from lamb) is the...best burger in Almaty. Absolutely PERFECT. I once messed up and ordered a cheeseburger by accident, and it was spectacular too. And the fries - don't skip the fries! These cornmeal-dusted beauties are the best I have had anywhere - and I have had fries in many, many places. I never have explored the menu - if I am in this cafe, I am getting a burger.More
