Sensilyo is a very cozy coffee house in the city center. They are offering a wide variety of coffee which they can brew for you. So you can buy a couple of packs for as a gift or for personal use.
They have large selection...of coffee drinks: classic, alternative and even cocktails. You can order snack, deserts and breakfast too.
Also, you can get a discount, if you bring your own cup or you can buy eco-friendly cups there. I think, it makes Sensilyo not only cozy, but socially responsible and environmentally friendly.
This plays attract interesting and kind people. Here you can always find someone to talk with.More
If you happen to be in Almaty, dont forget to visit this small coffeeshop. Here you can stumble upon delicious coffee and my favourite raspberry dessert. Friendly atmosphere and amazing baristas who will always make you feel like an old friend.
As I was in town during Ramadan, I didn't have a chance to dine there. However, I had a chance to try their delicious coffee and croissants during the Almaty Festival of Ethnic Music, The Spirit of Tengri 2019. By the way Arsentiy, owner and...founder, treats this place and the business overall, one can see how much effort is put in this. They roast fine imported coffee beans from many countries (Costa Rica, Columbia, Kenya, Rwanda, Brazil) as well as have their own Tengri blend. During the festival, staff was very polite and professional in dealing with large numbers of customers. I even went to their coffee shop to purchase additional beans to bring back home. I can't wait to go back to their coffee shop during my next visit to Almaty to try their food. Highly recommend!More
The care and attention put into making my Aeropress coffee was outstanding - I've never seen anything like it. The expert barista measured everything precisely, and wanted me to taste the end product to get my feedback. Super impressed and would highly recommend.
As someone who knows and values good-quality coffee, I always head straight for Sensilyo Coffee House whenever I visit Almaty. The coffee is simply outstanding and the atmosphere is inviting, making me feel at home whenever I visit.
Sensibly roast their own beans—and do so...artfully. My all-time favorites are Burundi and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe. The baristas are true coffee experts in a variety of methods: from a perfectly pressed espresso to excellent Aeropress, Chemex, and pour-over coffee. If you're into coffee-based drinks, there's a varied menu of traditional and more creative ones, as well as teas and lemonades. In addition to drinks, Sensilyo offers a tasty desserts and cakes, as well as breakfasts and panini. If, like me, you are a fan of good coffee, you may also want to buy some Sensilyo coffee beans to take with you.
With friendly baristas who are always up for a chat and a conveniently central location (just across the intersection from Yubileinyi Supermarket), Sensilyo is the place to go whether you're looking for a caffeine fix or a quick bite. It's great for meeting up with friends—or making new friends through the various events that Sensilyo likes to host. This week, for example, they're running a coffee quiz, and I heard there's a book club that regularly meets at Sensilyo as well (check out Sensilyo's Instagram feed for announcements). It's also one of those rare places in Almaty that's perfect for work (I'd suggest ordering a drink every hour or two as a courtesy) and people-watching.
Sensilyo is where I go to feel at home while away from home. Stop by when you get a chance—it may well become your favorite spot too. :)More
Sensilyo Coffee House has very tasty coffee and cool atmosphere. They have a full menu of all the lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, etc. that you'd find in an American or European coffee house. It's easy to find on Gogol Street , not far from the Yubileniy...Supermarket. I'd highly recommend!More
