Last minute visit before leaving Takamatsu at 14:30. Fortunately, there was no waiting line. We enjoyed Udon with tempura and half boiled egg at 500 yen. You can find Chikusei by the long line of visitors waiting to get inside. Space to eat is limited, but service is fast and efficient, with customers seasoning the noodles to their own liking. I spent four day in Takamatsu and each day I ate sank udon from various restaurants. In my opinion this was the best. maybe intimidating at first if you are not Japanese or you can't speak Japanese, but the staff is very friendly.
