Lovely place..

this is a very nice restaurant with really cute antiques inside. I would definitely come here again. The fondue was really fun!

Chat-A-Wyle is a well-kept secret ... except to the locals! It's an old home which has been converted into an eclectic luncheon spot! The plain outside is deceptive but once you step into the dining rooms it feels like you returned to your Grandmother's house full of your favorite foods! It's open Monday - Saturday 11A - 3P - and... More

Soup is always great! Bread bowls are delicious too. Favorite place for my daughter and I to visit. Annual birthday tradition for us. We love the soup and service is always good. Sandwiches are great and desserts are also.

My wife, daughter and grand daughter love this place, especially the soups and frequent this place including take out. This past Friday I ordered take out for them which included cream of broccoli, taco and cheesy potato soups. They were all disappointed. The soups were watery and not creamy as before and with large chunks. I understand that some customers... More

Always like to comeback to this restaurant. The soups are the best, the salad's top notch, the sandwiches are good. Everything is fresh, and prepared as you like. Always love the British Tomato Soup, and in the summer the Fruit Soup which I get for desert, and in the winter the cabbage soup. The house salad with cucumber dressing, with... More

A small unimposing house reveals itself to be a unique restaurant where all the furnishings are nostalgic or antique. The sandwiches are excellent. The salads are fresh and lovely and the dressings are made on site! Hearty soups, and the cheese fondue was an unexpected treat. Try to save a bit of room for the homemade desserts and you will... Went to lunch while visiting family in the area. Seems like a nice locals kind of place. It is in an old farm house, with booths and tables within the rooms of the house. Very unique and a comfortable setting. Like you are visiting with your grandma. Service was a bit slow the day we went, although we hear that... More

This restaurant is only open from 11:00 - 3:00 for lunch, so when I was working, I didn't venture out there. I recently met a friend for lunch on a Monday and found many cars in the parking lot and almost every table full. The food was exceptional. I have the cup of soup and 1/2 sandwich selection with chicken... More

I'm not sure what to say about this place. First off I'm a 34yr old man and the place was packed with 60+yr old woman, so I'm not the typical customer here. The British tomato soup was good, but I have had better, however the portobello sandwich was amazing. The service was great and my peach cobbler was not too... More

We went exploring today for lunch - a friend had recommended this place for soup - and she is right on the money - my honey had a "taste of fall" (carrots, walnuts, squash, pumpkiny) thick soup in a bread bowl, and i had the turkey veggie (broth based) - both were excellent. The bread bowl was a nice size... More
