Being ranked 2nd on the Tripadvisor list of restaurants in Kagoshima naturally raises expectations of any ramen lover. But like any discerning ramen lover will tell you after their dining experience here, there's nothing really special about the ramen - be it the noodles or the broth. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience for me to be honest.

This small raman shop is tucked in a corner in the area of Tenmonkan. Not easy to find but Google map should led you there. The Raman is Ok but not brilliant compared to those I have ate in Fukuoka and Kumamoto. The broth is slightly salty and not very thick. Dumpling is worth a try as it is made... More

Hard to find but really really good food! As there was no english signing out front, we nearly gave up and went somewhere else. The tontoro ramen was so tasty and reasonably priced. We also had the gyoza which was also good.

These ramen have all the component to be excellent - but unfortunately, the broth is too salty. Nevertheless, the pork is melting in your mouth, the half boiled egg cooked in soy sauce is perfectly done, and the ramen are good. Too bad the broth is too salty (but despite that, the broth is still smooth and heavenly thick).

I went here a few days ago and ordered the pork ramen and two beers. Only one beer was brought to the table but we didn't think anything of this at the time, perhaps they had misunderstood our bad Japanese. The ramen was nice but didn't blow me away - we've had better ramen in Fukuoka. After I'd left the... More

It looks like a simple small Ramen restaurant, but it's delicious. Very nice noodles with eggs and pork. The taste of the soup is delicious! I really recommend to try this when you are in town and you like Ramen.

Thick, milky broth and good pork. I got the chashu and my wife got the pork + soft boiled egg. Both were really good for 1820¥ total.

It was in a location easy to find around the main city. Good was great. I don't take ramen in soup, yet they offered rice othat than ramen. My husband and my son ate the ramen and they both enjoyed it very much. Their dumplings were also good !!

This is one of the most popular Ramen shops in Kagoshima. Their speciality is a pork Ramen. It is so tender, tasty and goes well with soup and noodle. And it is a bit different from noodle shops in other area in Kyushu. So if you are a Ramen lover, then it is worth to try, to tick the box... More
