Ichiran is a famous chain that helped popularise Hakata style ramen. Quality is pretty good overall, and Ichiran is known for allowing customers lots of customisation options (you fill up a form with your order). Service is quick and efficient, and unlike the honten, this...More

There’s almost always a line so try to go off peak hours. We went at 550pm on a weekday and managed to miss the crowds. May your choices at the 2 machines - Most take the set then any additional items if needed. The serving...More

The first thing that strikes you about this place is the layout - everyone sits in a small, dark cubicle. You get a small piece of paper where you can customise your ramen and this in itself was so delightful as we rarely get asked...More

One of the best place to enjoy ramen. Ichiran ramen has so many branches. This branch is quite busy and popular for tourists. Quite long queue here during lunch period. Private place to enjoy ramen.

You really dont care if you have to queue as they have excellent tonkatsu ramen and it is really a must try. Excellent taste with enough spices and flavour. We have to go back the second time to enjoy the delicious ramen

The dining experience is as Japanese as it can be: eating alone in a cubicle. The process was flawless and quick. You choose your ramen, the thickness of the broth, the spice level, the firmness of noodles, and the side dishes. You pay at the...More

Not my first time eating Ichiran and we came early when the shop opened at 10am for brunch. Generally the quality of the ramen and the soup broth was good albeit slightly salty. My family liked it but also preferred other ramen that we tried...More

The tasty tonkotsu ramen broth had compelled me to order an extra bowl of noodles for the first time. Undeniably one of if not the best bowl of ramen I have ever had in my life.
