I was recommended to this place by my cousin and it did not disappoint me. Upon arrival, I and my wife wanted to order just a plate of 6 gyozas since we had planned to have dinner at other places; however, we were informed that 6 gyozas were for one person only and we had to order 12 gyozas because... I went there with my family. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any English menu nor English-speaking staffs but we were lucky enough to be able to order some good stuffs. The crispiness of Gyoza is quite good and the sauce (especially the yuzu one) is very nice! Good and dynamic atmosphere.

i have been expecting to eat at this place for a long time. and when i finally have a chance, I would say.. it's not really that great. I ordered Gyoza and wings. The Gyoza taste good. The wings were OK. What I really hate is that it's a smoking place. Although i knew before hand that this place allow... More

I stopped by this restaurant and ordered the wings and gyoza ( dumplings). Outstanding! I speak Japanese so I showed the owner the reviews on trip advisor. She had never heard of it before and she was both surprised and pleased by the good reviews. She asked why there were bad reviews and I told her it was because of... More

This isn't a formal restaurant - more of a quick food place with great atmosphere. The gyoza's are yummy - we managed to eat 36 between 2 of us :-) The menu is in japanese but a couple of waiters did speak enough english to get by. They do have a tomato and a cucumber salad if you want something... More

small bar famous for it's gyoza, and justifiably so. The gyoza is cooked and served in a tetsunabe, hence the name. The yakisoba was also pretty good, but I passed on items such as the horse sashimi. If you order the mentaiko, be aware that the servings are small. Like many Japanese bars, Tetsunabe allows smoking, so be aware of... More

Great food, gyoza is served direct to the table in a large skillet, piping hot, yum! No English spoken, menu is in Japanese, however as someone else said, you won't have any problems, they know why you're there. Don't forget to add some of the yuzu (green mixture in a little pot next to the other gyoza sauces) to your... More

And I've had them at restaurants around the world. Medium size very homey-type family owned place on a back street a few blocks from Hakata Station. Friends recommended that I try it, and they weren't wrong. The minimum order is 16 dumplings (two orders) served in the skillet they are cooked in, sizzling hot (don't touch). While you're waiting order... More
