Tochigi and mainly Utsunomiya is the gyoza-town and it's very easy to find good quality and cheap gyoza everywhere. This one was great, 12 different flavors in one serve and cheap. The main difference between other shops and this one is the crispy of the wrap and the juicy of the interior...delicious. The traditional flavors are really excellent and probably,... More

Had 12 varieties flavored of gyoza, along with the standard gyoza (altogether 18 pieces of gyoza) + soup + rice + pickles for 1,300 yen. 12 varieties flavored of gyoza: good - no major surprises though Consistent quality, good location, average services. average interior decor.

Yes, it is certainly nice and convenient to have a Gyoza street in a part of town. But I tasted better Gyoza elsewhere in Japan

As one of our Utsunomiya gyoza tour, we chose here as it was right in front of the station. None of us could tell any flavour of meet. Sorry, but I can do much better gyoza myself.

Go to Masashi for real loal Gyoza. This place is for tourists. Utsunomiya offers cheaper and better gyoza at Masashi.

We ate at the one right across from the JR station twice. The restaurant is crowded at times and for a very good reason. The gyoza are amazing. We stayed with traditional gyoza and beer the first time and it was great. The second time, my wife got gyoza with pizza toppings. They were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this place!
