Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking along the shore of the lake. Saw a queue at 1130am outside this shop. Decided to join in the queue. Worth waiting for the food. Generous portions. Value for money. Service was great. Would highly recommend this place.

This small restaurant (appx 8 seats) is located just opposite to the beautiful lake in Nikko. Having read through the reviews again while waiting for the foods and... More

Greta Tonkatsu (common Japanese fare), superb value, fast friendly service and very clean restaurant. Lovely view of the lake and not at all "chintzy" like some of the eateries around the area. Just good food at a good price cooked fresh.

Food: Really, really fresh tonkatsu. I think it is because the cutlets come from the butcher shop next door (probably the same owner). The lean cut is more expensive but my friend and I found the slightly fattier cut more tasty, particularly with a dash of the mustard provided. Fantastic value, but be prepared to queue - there are only... More

A very small tonkatsu restaurant nestled between souvenir stores. The restaurant is located across the street from the boat docks at Lake Chuzenji in Nikko. It is very clean but only seats eight. If you frequent Japan fare, you will know that this is common. My family of 5 sat at the counter and ordered Sauce Katsu and Minced Meat... More
