Arrived around 6pm on a Saturday night, group of 3. There were about three others groups ahead of us. We waited maybe 20 minutes. The restaurant is small with cafeteria type seating, no private tables. We sat at the bar right in front of the kitchen. We all ordered the same thing, 1500¥ noodle soup and gyosa. We also had... I read that Yoshimuraya gets very busy when it opens so I got there at 10:30 and it was a great decision. I was second in line for opening at 11:00 and I sat right down and placed my order because I had already bought my tokens from the machine. The ramen came out fast and it was absolutely delicious!!... More

One of a must visit ramen house once you visit Yokohama! Long cue of customers can be seen almost everyday! It might take awhile before you can slurp their thick and smoky ramen soup but definitely worth the wait! Dont forget to add extra nori and put lots of ground sesame and garlic paste! Oishii! :)

Yoshimura introduced this style of soup in the early 70s. The use of both pork and chicken stock, and the creator of house style. If you are British you might liken the soup to a roast gravy, the type you mum creates with all the roasting juices. The are a plethora of extra toppings you can have if you can... More

We were heading out for a Princess cruise and only had one night in Yokohama, luckily we had some time that morning before boarding the ship. We arrived at 10:30am before anyone else, they were preparing the restaurant for the day and told us to buy a token from the machine and sit outside in line. I looked at the... More

This place is the original yokohama ie kei style tonkotsu ramen. So many pay homage to this shop. Probably the most popular shop in yokohama. Its about a 10 minute walk from the station. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes always! There is usually always a line outside. Go to the machine and buy choose ramen and toppings etc than go... More

It has rated as top ramen store in Yokohama, believe it or not! As a little background, we love ramen and Japanese food, and have been trying it for the past 30 years in different countries ... The store is < 10 minutes walk from Yokohama Station, so it is quite convenience ... Me and wife went there on weekend... More

One of the most tasteful ramen ever. The "chashiyu"(roasted pork slices) is really outstanding! Maybe the taste is too salty...just for strong palates !
