The menu is not in English so we were ordering purely based on reviews/ photos on the menu. They have a lunch time special which costs 1000 yen for a half chicken set meal (but we totally missed out on this cus the staff did not highlight that they have a lunch special). The staff aren't proficient in English. I... More

We arrived in Otaru on Christmas, the day that all of Japan celebrates the foreign holiday by indulging in fried chicken (that's a whole different story). While researching places to eat on the train ride over from Sapporo, we were intrigued by this fried chicken place and decided to give it a shot. The way Naruto fries its chicken is... More

Close to Otaru Station, Nice break from Sushi & Ramen, Go for the half Chicken, its better than the Karage, the salad is also nice.

Go with the half chicken, the big pieces "karaage" chix is just not at par with the half chicken (similar price) Probably want to skip everything else other than the half chicken - the chawamushi was sweet(!) There are better seafood elsewhere in hokkaido!

They served very tasty fried chicken, the set meal includes half a chicken and is ok for two to share, if just want to have a taste, prices are also reasonable. You may also want to try their local beer, Otaru Beer.

We made this our first meal in Otaru. The fried chicken is marinated with salt. Crispy skin, juicy n tender meat without the oily discomfort from the usual fried chicken. Their best seller is the original half chicken costing 980yen.

We had a number of fried chicken serves here. They serve two principal types of fried chicken. One is whole pieces of chicken with bones in place or the other is the de boned battered variety. They have other items on the menu but fried chicken is the highlight. The latter had ginger mixed in with the batter. This imparted... More

The chicken skin is fantastic! Crispy and juicy ! However it's a bit too salty. Best if combine with rice.

The looks of fried chicken is simple but delicious and crispy. We have sharing 2 set chicken among 5 persons during the time visit. But all is regret, we should order each person a set. Is damn nice of their chicken. I love it.

We located the shop per guidelines from the Travel Information at JR Station, Otaru. The shop opens at 11 am, we are still early , stroll around the area for a while . The shop is only about 10 mins walk from JR Station. reaching the place at 10.40am, a queue of 30 paxs already there. Took the number and... More
