Initially hesitant to come as having sushi for dinner can go very expensive especially for reasonably good ones at a sushi restaurant in Japan. Nonetheless we went ahead since we are on a holiday, so decided to splurge a little. The food was good and...fresh. It ended up costing slightly less than 9000 jpy for 32 plates of a variety of prices, shared between 3 adults and 2 children.More

Found this place by chance looking for an authentic kaiten style sushi. Located by the sea side with a great view. Parking is available. Crowded during peak times so expect 30 to 50 minutes wait. There are table & sushi bar seating. Prices are reasonable...for fresh & high quality sushi. Service is friendly & quick. Some language gaps but manageable. We sat facing the itamae (sushi chefs). Just point to the menu when ordering & they make it fresh. Or take from the conveyor belt which has the popular items. The seafood were really fresh & oh so good. Look out for the platter items on the menu. You get better choices like trio of fish egg or trio of tuna cuts. Able to try more. Prices are denoted by the plate's color ranging from 150 to 550¥ if not mistaken. Green tea is complimentary. Once you are done the wait staff will calculate the total & just head to the cashier to settle your bill. Highly recommended. It was a great dinner. Happy we found this place. Will surely return if we visit Hakodate again.More

This is a popular place, with a steady line of customers at dinner time on a Sunday. We were told the wait was 40 to 50 minutes, but were seated in 30. The sushi is reasonably priced with plates ranging from 180 to 550¥, and...a few items at market price, including uni.The chefs are very responsive and quick with ordered items. The restaurant is a little out of the way if you don't have a car or take the bus. It is a 15 minute walk from the nearest Hakodate tram stop.More

This was our first experience with a sushi train restaurant and we certainly weren't disappointed. It was very crowded so we had to wait for 45 minutes but it was worth it. There were at least 6 chefs at the time and we all ate...for around 2000 yen each.More
