This is our 2nd visit in 2 years time. Remembered our first visit was for lunch and we had to queue for almost 45min to get a table. This time we went there for dinner and surprise, surprise, there is no queue! Very pleased with it. The food is just as delicious as before. We had a very satisfying meal... More

We got the set and it met expectation. Wasn't really mind blowing as I was expecting after reading so many good reviews here.

A friend asked us to try this place and we were not disappointed. Eel us fresh and week barbecued over charcoal fire fit that extraordinary taste. Tender, succulent and minimal fish taste. It's served over rice and with seasoning and a soup to eat it there different ways. Each service is about usd40 not expensive for good eel. Be aware... More

We went early at 6pm so the queue was not too long. Excellent Unagi wish a nice charcoal taste. Waitress was nice and spoke decent English and the meal was not too expensive actually.

I don't like eel but seeing my DH does and we were in Nagoya, I thought I should try it and it was great. No fishy taste! When we arrived there was quite a queue and no directions as to how to queue and it was a bit difficult given that we couldnt understand Japanese. Maybe they could have better... More

Came here with my girlfriend. The queue was long, but well worth it. We were not disappointed. The restaurant even has a neat "how to enjoy your unagi rice" instruction sheet.

You'll love it if: - you like unagi (鰻) - you want the best of Nagoyan cuisine Reconsider if: - you find ¥3600 for a bowl of eel and rice a bit steep I have visited this restaurant and rest assured; the hitsumabushi (櫃まぶし), or grilled eel, is definitely of good quality. It's only a matter of whether you think... More
