My girlfriend and I completed our meals in Syrian palace a few hours ago. I was very happy to find this place on trip advisor, because otherwise it's unlikely that we would go there. It looks quite expensive when you enter plus compulsory 10% service fee and 7% sale tax might make you worry, nevertheless it's a terrific place with... More

The Syrian Palace offers menus in English but at what looks to be local prices. The food is freshly made and plentiful, and the set menus offer good value. It was certainly the best of the Aqaba restaurants we visited and the serving staff is also very nice

Great location, terrific food, perfect service - and everything for a reasonable price without tourist surcharge. If you are looking for local food, then the Syrian Palace Restaurant should be considered your first choice. The dishes are huge, so better skip the bread upfront. We had two classic dishes from the area which had an authentic flavor, the meat was... More

Beautiful seaview with the mosque and delicious dishes. Don't miss the mint lemonade and try the various ways how tahini and other oriental spices are used from soups to fishes. Best metabal and grape leaves ever! Fresh and tasty ingredients. Superb service. Budget prices. On our short visit to Aqaba we went there for lunch and dinner too so to... More

This place became our favorite during stay in Jordan. Delicious "Kofta with sesame" with rich sauce made of goat's milk! I highly recommend a "kebab a'la Aleppo" and few starters - hummus and baba ghanoush are excellent! To drink I recommend freshly squeezed lemon juice with mint. Prices are very reasonable: kebabs and falafels costs 3 JOD, appetizers from 1... More

I had my diner here and I like their food and service. The waiter was very land, careful and polite, I appreciate his service. Also the foods are good with reasonable price and amount. I recommend the drink "Polo", kind of a lemonade with menthe, quite particular with fresh taste. In Jordan, it is appreciable to have a fair restaurant... More

They took our order over the phone and had the food hot and ready upon arrival. They prepared a private area for our family. The service and food were excellent. My wife enjoyed the fresh fish and the mansaf was the real deal. A quiet and peaceful meal and very family friendly. The music overhead was a bit loud, but... More
