My favourite restaurant in Aqaba - good food, especially the fish - can I recommend the Ali Baba pot (its a mix of fish) - really good. Staff are very attentive and friendly and food is good.

The restaurant has a long history in aqaba but since the ownership changed, everything else changed with it. The service is acceptable and food quality and taste are ok but when your hit with the bill that is a bit expensive. I would rather go to more authentic and local restaurants that are way cheaper but deliver way higher on... More

If you're staying in Aqaba and want to eat some fish and seafood then this is the place to go. Unfortunately I haven't visited other fish restaurants to compare with but Ali Baba exceeded my expectations and we enjoyed eating seabass with calamari and prawns. Fattoush and meze were also tasty and the service was good.

Pleasant dinner here English speaking waiters and reasonable price. Make sure you ask for non smoking table as we forgot and had a couple of guys light up next to us while we ate. But like most Jordanians they were so nice and apologetic and they moved tables. Portions are large good value.

We eat dinner first night in Aqaba. We just eat salads. Hummus salad very tasty and soft. Olive salad with onion - tasty but very hot. Nice place but too much smokers.

The restaurant is good in general. Good welcoming and setting. Clean and the staff are nice and helpful. The food is good but not that wow. We ordered Mashawi (grilled meat Kabab and Chicken). The salads are also same quality but the overall experience it is good.

Went there with 20 persons family and friends... we selected a kg5.5 red fish with drinks and appetisers... everything tasted just great as fish was well cooked half fried half grilled. Service was very good as waiters were alert and very helpful... only the place needs to be renovated for better look and feel.

Thank mohammed E
