The service at Red Pepper is fast and courteous. The food is hot and delicious. The Chinese dishes have fresh ingredients with flavorful sauces. They can be spiced to your order. The General Tso's and Shrimp Lo Mein are really good. Their Hot and Sour soup has a great broth and just the right amount of zing. While have not... More

I had phở bò, which is beef noodle soup. I've been traveling to Vietnam to teach a couple times each year since 2012, so I could compare their offering with the real stuff from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Red Pepper's phở bò was excellent. There were as many vegetables to add to the noodles as you would... More

We end up at the Red Pepper on a regular basis. Good food at very reasonable prices and very fast service. The pho soup is a favorite, as is the orange beef (sautéed and not fried though). Would recommend!!

We used to eat here a lot, finding ourselves in the area on Mondays. Since they started closing that day, we have not been there in some time. While the Vietnamese menu is arguably the star here, they offer good value Chinese specials at lunch. Standard American-ized fare. We had a chicken/eggplant dish ($6.50), and Orange Beef ($7.99, the most... More

We have been here several times, and each time the food has been consistently good. Its also nice to eat at a local Chinese restaurant that clearly practices clean preparation and care with their food. Most of the menu options are served "family style" so make sure you have a group of 4 or more, or you'll have plenty of... More

Good food. Service very fast. Portions not overwhelming but reasonable for the price. Two menus, one traditional Chinese, the other Vietnamese. Most of the dishes are basic, not to exotic as you might see in some fancier restaurants. I would return here to eat.

just beat the clock at 2:55, as "lunch" officially ends at 3... this is an extraordinary package deal including soup and two entrees, in this case a fine black-bean shrimp with pork-fried rice, the latter not terrifically hot, only shortcoming in a terrific meal for three for $34... firstborn had his first pho, the roast duck, which he battled to... We waited for the doors to open and were pleasantly surprised for a Saturday afternoon there were at least 6 wait staff, fresh carnations, white linen table cloths. In no time mist sell tables were full. We had general Tsao chicken, sweet and sour soup, and pho vermicelli with shredded pork and egg roll. The flavors were delicious quite possibly... More

stopped here on a whim, as we so often do... as usual, vegetable dumplings exceed the order and the Cheap Gourmet returns to his favorite, "duck pho," as if groucho marx were vietnames, in finest way, seems as if plucked duck has flown into a fan and fallen into the stew... mrs cg, casheewed chicken, could have taken a few...
