When we thought that nothing could match the Temple Restaurant, we found this one. Perhaps not quite as nice interiour, but the service level and food was of top quality. Exquisite food! Highly recommendable for fine dining.
Truely had a superb meal here, staff were very attentive and went the extra mile- they took special care of my niece who was on holiday with me and is a vegitarian.Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits the lovely town of Hoi An...in VietnamMore
This restaurant was simply amazing. We loved it. Very high quality food, beautifully prepared, served with great wine. There was nothing to fault. It was a bit pricey for the area, (but cheaper than London, where I live). Frankly, this one is worth the visit....:)More
Aubergine49 is a fine dining restaurant outside of the ancient town so take a taxi. It’s a lovely renovated space inside, and the service from the staff was excellent. The presentation of the food is beautiful but we found that the flavours of some dishes...was excellent and others were perhaps over complicated and didn’t work as well. Definitely better for couples than families. It was still a lovely evening. Recommend the mushroom risotto if you like rich food, and the chocolate mouse. Cost for 4 mains, 4 desserts, 1 wine and water was about 3,000,000 VND. There is also a set 3 course menu for about 780,000 each.More
Enjoyed Christmas dinner at this restaurant. Wow! Everything was delicious. Had the 3-course set dinner of char-grilled beef (good but my least favorite), duck breast (amazing and so tender) and the dark chocolate dessert (delicious). Added an extra starter of the pork belly which was...phenomenal! Also enjoyed a bottle of Merlot. Tried the Jasmine cocktail but it was too sour for my taste. Another person in my party had the mushroom risotto and it was wonderful! The meal was so incredible that we’ve made another reservation to return in a few days. Definitely much pricier than most restaurants but a bargain compared to restaurants in California with this quality of food. Total for 3 was $180 USD.More
Quiet disappointed. Our family only have two dinners in this trip so we try to look for something memorable. Wait was very long but not worth it. Overall food quality was poor, all the meat (steak, pork belly, duck breast) were tough and chicken was...dry. They missed to take my son appetizer order and said was NOT THEIR FAULT. We had a birthday and they gave us a small cake, first time in a restaurant that we had to pay, surely they have the right to charge but didn't feel good.
Generally the restaurant try very hard but just not able to offer professional service and food.More

We had a great time in this restaurant, the food was delicious and tasty! The team was well-trained and were able to explain every dish in detail to us!
Go for the Mushroom Risotto.
If you are lucky, you will meet the owner and chef...towards closing time! :) thank you for a great culinary experience!More
Very delicious. I don’t understand why this restaurant is not in the top 5. Try it and you will know.
Should have a Michelin Star. Congratulations to the chef, and his serving team. Really high standard, the chef knows the understanding of how to cook....Thanks for this nice evening! And wishing you good luck for the future. Bad ranking on TripAdvisor means nothing, you are too!More
