Lobbed for lunch. Only 3 in the place. Service was efficient. The food was lovely, the soup a bit bland but my wife put salt and pepper in it and that really enhanced the flavour. Prices are very reasonable and the location is wonderful....rice paddies...one side and a vegetable garden on the other. Casual but pleasant. Will return soon.More

great rural experience. Restaurant out towards An Bang set amongst the vegetable gardens. All produce comes from the gardens and cooked fresh. Need a bike or taxi! We enjoyed “Banh Xeo” (pan rice cake w/shrimp served w /tra que mixed salad, glass noodles, green split...peas, pork), brilliant. Xa Lach Cai Con TronThit Bo (baby mustard, lettuce and mint leaf served with minted beef) again brilliant. Delicious grilled chicken and lemongrass and to finish an excellent banana pancake with chocolate sauce. With 2 beers 300k dong (AUD$20). 2 chefs in the small kitchen and their helper goes out to the garden to pick the greens and herbs for each individual dish, amazingMore

We chose to hunt this place down after reading some good reviews and wow are we glad we did! Such a cute little spot set back abit off the main road and in the middle of the herb gardens! I saw reviews on the mackerel...saying it was the best people had had so I went for the traditional cooked mackerel, with a side of spinach greens (morning glory) whilst my boyfriend had the sweet and sour pork. They were both beautifully cooked and can safely it was the best meal we’d had in 2 weeks! Definitely recommend!More

During our Hoi An visit, we stayed in the Tra Que Quarter in Hoi An, which is mostly still a residential area, where restaurants are scarce. Luckily we found the Baby Mustard Restaurant, which is an excellent choice for Vietnamese dishes. You eat in a...relaxed setting under a bamboo-roof. There is a limited number of tables only, as it seems to be a Mum & Dad business. Service is friendly & swift (Dad) and the cooking (Mum) is excellent. We ultimately had dinner there several timesMore

My husband and I stopped here for a late afternoon lunch, after bicycling around the beautiful Tra Que farming village. The food was fresh and delicious, the environment very peaceful, and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in Hoi an for a month visiting family. Eat at the restaurant several times and enjoyed the great food. Loved being next to the organic gardens knowing our food was super fresh!

Really nice restaurant lost between the rice fields if you are on a bike tour or returning to the city center from the beach. Mackerel is delicious, the place is calm and peaceful.
