Firstly, as far as Vietnam pricing goes, this place is pricey. It's obviously quite reliant on its bloggers/influencers and so on and I imagine used to be nice - they sound nice! The reality is unfortunately there are much better food places in Vietnam, Hoi An and even on this street than White Rose. The dumplings were chewy and didn't taste or look particularly fresh, service was slow despite there being around 30 people sat around at the back of the restaurant. It's just below average to be honest, not really worth it

Over hyped dumpling estsblishment in hoi an..the customer service was some of the poorest and non friendly customer reaction by the 2 male waiters i had in hoi-an.
Dumplings were cheap about 60ishVND so portion size was worth its price tho dry tasting even when dipped was expecting more flavouring taste which it lacked alot of.
Was a good walk to from the old town but not worth a 2nd trip to an over hyped up meal

Like many we can here to try the Hoi An dishes, the restaurant was quite large and clean which was great. It was interesting to see a table of ladies preparing the dumplings as we waited for our food. For me I liked the dumplings, they were quite delicate, however i was not a fan of the pizza style dish, it was far too sweet, it almost reminded me of a Hawaiian pizza. But overall I am glad we tried both dishes and the restaurant and service was good

There’s nothing special about this place. The food is below average. We only came here because our hotel said it was a local place but we may have been lied to. The price is high and the dumplings were not as fresh as expected. The fried wontons/ pizza nacho is not worth trying at all, was this dish created just for foreigners? Don’t waste your time here. Saw several bloggers raving about this place, but obviously those bloggers were not real foodies.

Don’t waste your time. The menu only has two items. Dumplings barely have any content. Pea sized shrimp bits with some deep fried garlic. The pizza taco was difficult to eat and burned my fingers.

Great place. Been before. Traditional white rose dish amazing.
But tonight was a calamity...first white rose dish was served cold, took 33 minutes to receive our fried wonton dish...in the meantime, I ordered a second larue beer but when I opened the bottle, the liquid level seemed a little off and when I took a sip, it was water. The beer was replaced but unfortunately the meal was ruined.
For those coming, just stick to the traditional white rose dumplings and check your beers.

A restaurant in Hoi An. There is a specialty of Hoi An called White Rose.
It means white rose, but they don't actually use real roses, but the menu looks like it. The menu makes the wontons look like white roses. This famous restaurant is White Rose.
They have a menu of normal water wontons and fried wontons. Both are delicious, but I think I prefer the normal wontons? ? They taste just as you would expect. However, the sauce you dip them in is ethnic, so it tastes different from usual.
I think it's a menu that Japanese people will like.
The normal size is about two servings, so we each got a small size.
We drank two bottles for 115,000 VND.
It was quite reasonable at about 700 yen ^_^
The staff were nice and I recommend it!

There are only two different types of dumplings on offer, one plate of prawn dumplings with onions (not too seafoody at all!) and one plate of a pineapple pizza style dumplings. They are 70,000 and 100,000 respectively. It’s great for a snack but if you’re hugely hungry then you might need more than one plate to yourself. We shared one of each plate and this tided us over for lunch. Service is friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious, which is the reason why this place is very popular!

Only had two items on the menu. The dumplings were a bit hard to chew for me, just not a huge fan of steamed dumplings.
The other thing on the menu reminded me of pizza. I could only eat one because it made me so full (and not in a good way?). I liked it more than the dumpling though.
Still, good to try once.

I’d say it was ok. Certainly not worth a special trip. You can get white rose dumplings most places. The dumpling pizza was way too sweet for me.
We went because of the reviews but neither of us were thrilled. The restaurant is pretty and spotless. Good service but I don’t think I’d make a special trip.

i had dinner at white rose restaurant after the lantern making class.i went to this restaurant on foot. it is the original white rose restaurant, i ordered white rose, fried wonton and lemon juice. actually, they have these two food only. so i tried both.white rose is a type of shrimp dumpling made from white dough, it looks like rose. fried wonton is regarded as Hoi An pizza, like tortillas, both size are huge, luckily i am a big eater,so i can enjoy them.they are delicious, love them! if you want to try Hoi An speciality food, then white rose and fried wonton are must-try food. highly recommended!.

The white rose dumplings are a thing of beauty! Yes, there are only 2 things on the menu. Yes, it’s a small place and the setting is not grand but this is a Hoi An institution for a reason. You cannot really say you have tasted Hoi An until you have eaten the iconic rose dumplings here.

white rose dumplings - these delicate and visually stunning dumplings were a feast for the eyes and the palate. trying the fried wontons and white rose dumplings at this restaurant. The skillful preparation and attention to detail in both dishes were evident, resulting in a culinary experience that exceeded expectations. Whether you're a fan of crispy fried treats or delicate dumplings, these dishes will surely satisfy your cravings.

If you want some beautiful delicate food, please come to white rose in Hoi An to enjoy some authentic Hoi An local cuisine. The Wonton Pizza and the rice dumplings are amazing. The price is also very good. It is very simple but it's a powerful combination. Definitely recommend

This was recommended to us by our hotel and other travellers; it didn’t disappoint.
We tried both the steamed and fried dumplings. We absolutely loved the steam dumplings but the fried wasn’t quite our taste (although they’re very popular so its our taste rather than the quality). Family run restaurant. Highly recommend!
