We visited 4 times during our 8 day stay including just before we went home. This was easily our favourite restaurant. The location is great looking out onto the river and the inside is full of character. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Every dish we had was delicious - authentic Vietnamese... More

My family cycled from out accommodation to this little gem of a place! We were friendly greeted with peanuts and smiling staff! We ordered spring rolls (veg), two chicken hot pots and one fish hot pot all with rice!!! Best hot pots ever! My brother found the chicken a bit on the spicy side but the fish was delicious and... Visited this place last night and got food poisoning from it and therefore can only give it 1 out of 5. If I didn't get food poisoning, I would've rated it 3. Ordered the fried squid where the sauce was a bit too salty, chicken lemongrass which was overcooked and dry (as was the pork in the pork stew) and... More

I discovered this restaurant 2 years ago while on holiday and couldn't wait to return. The food is some of the best of eaten in Vietnam. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return before the end of my stay in Hoi An

This place had a nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Despite that we have to say we were disappointed with the food. It was the most expensive meal we've had in Hoi An, which of course is not loads, but the taste left a bit to be desired despite looking great. The papaya salad lacked a bit of freshness and zing,... Stayed in Riverside Resort and Spa - 2 minutes walk from here. Great food - highly recommend the chicken clay pot. We are here every night of our 3 night stay. Friendly service and highly popular with Riverside hotel guests (better than hotel food option). So pleased we were recommended to this place on our first day. Go here whilst... More

By far the best food and restaurant we have eaten in whilst staying in Hoi An. The service is relaxed and friendly and the food authentic and wonderfully priced, a must visit!

Read some good and bad reviews so thought we would try for ourselves.Their motto is slow food and that is great but the service is beyond slow.Food was ordinary at best, eating our papaya salad i but something hard and it turned out to be a bit of sharp fish bone that cut my gum.Our fried noodles really did look like... Went there twice during my stay in Hoi An; both times were immaculate in terms of food and presentation.

We were on the hunt for breakfast as our hotel's breakfast was pretty ordinary. We chose Son Hoian as it was listed for breakfast on TA and was close by. When we arrived (about 10:30am) the restaurant wasn't officially open but there was obviously people working out the back. Within 15 minutes of being there an English speaking waitress arrived... A small Vietnamese house on the way from ancient town to Cua Dai beach (in between Phuoc An River Hotel and Hoi An Riverside Resort). A stop-by site for you to take a break before heading to the beach or to gain your energy after long hours by the sea. A chill out atmosphere, a simple and elegant interior design, open space to view the Hoian rice field before it would fade out by the invading of rude modernism. Good just with the healthy-concept smoothies, without sugar and condensed milk, or a light sophisticated meal to a romantic dinner with your lovers.Perfected with jazz music collection, from Nat King Cole to Michael Buble...Welcome all of you to come and enjoy the Vietnamese slow food meals as well as enjoy every minutes of an unhurried life.
