We dined here several times a couple of years ago and it was great to return and enjoy the fantastic food. The down side (as others have said) is that it's always very busy and very crowded. Getting a table is not easy. Once inside, it can be very hot, especially this time of the year. Nevertheless you will not... More

We tried other restaurants in Hoi an but came back to Morning Glory as the food is by far the best. Amazing dishes is served here, presenting vietnamese food at its freshest and most tasty. You find all the traditional dishes here, but also many that are unique to this restaurant. We had four meals here and no disappointments. Highly... More

This was a difficult restaurant to rate. The food was delicious (the fried eggplant with chillis were fantastic) but the service was so terrible that it really detracted from our meal. In fact, the food was so good we tried it a second time and the service was even worse. Both visits we were ignored for over 20 minutes and... More

Had heard good things about this restaurant, the food was amazing and my favs were the prawn curry and fried wontons. It really was an outstanding curry. This place gets really busy, if you are planning to go you should book in advance. Upstairs was cooler than down stairs, there's a kitchen downstairs in the middle of the dining area.... More

If you want a change from the small family run restaurants dotted around the Ancient Town then Morning Glory will give you more variety, with tasty variations to the traditional.

Happened to walk past around 8.30 pm. and noticed a full house . Decided to try restaurant and was told about a 15-20 minute wait . Was given an electronic paging device to alert me when table available. As the device had a limited range, We were seated in a waiting area outside restaurant. After a 20 minute wait ,... More

Went here on a recommendation and totally worth it! We got the papaya beef salad, very fresh and good texture. Tried ordering the clam curry but it sold out so it must be very good. Ordered the prawn salad instead, came with rice (enough to share between two ppl) onions, carrots, and potatoes. Very flavorful seasonal ingredients and tastes. Shared... More

Lots of really great choices including traditional food. Prices are fair and quality was great. Lots ph vegetarian choices for my vego friend too. Very busy but didn't take long to get a table - we booked and went for a drink down the road and came back half an hour later. It is aimed for tourists but still a... More

As many others have said, this place is incredibly busy, popular and crowded, mostly with foreign tourists not Vietnamese. You feel rather herded here, especially if there are a lot of Groups dining, and its definitely not the place for a romantic, leisurely dinner. Possibly because they are so busy, service tends to be cold and sometimes its hard to... More
