This is a beautiful and inexpensive place to eat. The setting is very upscale. Waiters are top notch. I would suggest making reservations. The Chef also has two other resturants but this is the crown jewel. This is a very special place that is a...destination on its own.More
Morning Glory Restaurant. What a name that is! We waited to get in hear, as we were told the food is good. We got a table upstairs after about ten minutes. It was hot, busy, and some wonderfull aromas. Although busy, service was good. I...had the stuffed Squid and delicious or what. Yum.More
I will mention that it was very hot upstairs where we were seated. Not the restaurant's issue but it didn't make for a relaxing meal! Maybe sit downstairs? The drinks were great and the food was very good. Service was a bit slow but the...place was packed when we were there. Definitely recommend.More
Ok, it's touristy. But the food is terrific and the service is polite, helpful and fast. They want to turn over tables because there's always a wait outside for dinner...but they do not rush you when dining. There's another Morning Glory on the newer side...of the river but we didn't try it. Everything we tried we enjoyed..as it was explained to us previous to ordering and when it arrived. No problem with that. And the price was quite reasonable. I don't understand the comments about it being pricey...except in comparison to the street food outside the restaurants. We ate at local "Hoi An Cuisine" restaurants in and around town and this held up quite well to the "authentic" restaurants. Next day you can go full out tourist around the corner and try Bahn Mi Phuong where Anthony Bourdain had these VietNamese sandwiches.More
eaten here a few times as the food is so good. very good service. table booking is advisable. Good choice of food, reasonable price for the quality. Staff friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients. A lot of tourists eat here and language...was not a barrier.More
I registered for my cooking lesson which started 08.00am.We were 8 people. The restaurant is huge and the lower part is the place where they cook the food for the restaurant. The upper floors are like teaching classes where they teach us. Each of us...has a cooking place and one of the staff helping us to find whatever we need. We started on a trip by a boat by the river going to the market. There they teach us about different and special vegetables. Then we returned to the restaurant and the chef started the class. It was very professional. Love it.More
