Had a really nice lunch here. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. All the tables are in a garden, surrounded by trees, flowers and water fountains. The play a very calm and relaxing music. The food is delicious, you can choose from a vast variety of food!!!

Saw the intriguing sign 'The Secret Garden Restaurant" and followed the arrow down a small back alley. It is a beautiful oasis of well kept gardens and water features. The setting was almost perfect. We settled down for a couple of welcome beers given the temperature was 38 Celsius. Lovely ambience as we sat under the large bush/small tree near... More

Dear Irmgard H, We are wondering how could you bring into our restaurant "two underfed and feral looking dogs" as well as "two large well fed rats"?! We would like to confirm that we have no dog at all (even a tiny Chihuahua) at Secret Garden. We always extremely notice the importance of hygiene. And, as you see, to keep... More

Very classy restaurant that's off the beaten track but worth funding. The service is warm and friendly and the food fantastic. It's worth following that alley all the way down!

We wanted to grab lunch but waited one hour for starters. I'm perfectly fine waiting at dinner time, but for lunch (and when the restaurant is half empty) one hour is a far too long wait. Also the waiters had poor understanding of English, and the food was mediocre. Beautiful garden, but unfortunately no air condition.

Dear nice couple, So sorry to take you a long time waiting for your small lunch with only two small bowls of Tomyum soup. We actually had a glitch in our internal networking at that time hence the kitchen did not receive the order from waitress' server. Unfortunately, we recognized the missing too late. We know it was late enough... More

We have been here last night with great expectations, we had a very nice welcome from the gorgeous staff, the place is very nice and relaxing, but the food was a disappointment. We normally try local food in different places and this is one of the most disappointing dinner of our trip. The presentation was ok but nothing of what... More

Dear Silbrown, The only guests from Melbourne who my Manager had conversation about weather recently were a nice couple with a small dinner. The order were only three fried starters with a beer and a water. I have to confess that my staffs are still not good in advising. To give a good recommendation requires a deeper insight of the... The Secret Garden restaurant is trult a restaurant - in a secret garden. The environment is very relaxed and romantic. We went here for my birthday-dinner, had a nice chicken-meal and a nice bottle of prosecco. For dessert, we had ice-cream. Follow the recommendation from the staff and you will be in good hands, expect the fish which was a... More

We were recommended this place by friends and lived up to expectations. It's hidden away down a lane way, but not far from the Covered Japanese Bridge. Nice gardens, light live piano/guitar music from 7-9pm by a wonderful Vietnamese man. Ate here both nights in Hai An and food was great, presentation exceeded expectations, service was spot on and it... More

We stumbled across this place during the day and liked the look of it so booked a table for the evening which was a good job as when we arrived later it was very busy. Had a very good gin and tonic followed by a delicious meal. We found the staff very attentive and friendly . The evening atmosphere was... More
