As a lover of chivitos I thought I'd better try this place that everyone says has "the best in Uruguay". They're not bad and it's one of the few places anywhere I found that actually has a hot sauce, but the best in Uruguay? No way. I thought it was pretty decent street food, nothing too special. It was a... More

I ate my first and the best chivito in my life in Los Farolitos. it was really good ( and unhealthy too!). The place was cheap and it had also very good and friendly service.

We were in South America for a month And in search of The best burger/Chivito. The ones at Los Farolitos were by far the best!! And for The best price!! The steak was very tender. The only negative would be that we had To finish!! We could have easily eaten 2 each they were so yummy.

This is the place to order an Uruguayan chivito with everything (egg, ham, cheese, pickled vegetables, and all kinds of interesting and/or spicy toppings and sauces). Great meal, be sure to have a Coke with it. They make sure all the grease is patted off but even so it's unlikely the bun will last through the end of your meal.....that's... More

This little stand was a great place for an affordable and tasty lunch in the touristy town of Colonia del Sacramento. The lady making our hamburgers was the only one cooking but since we were after the lunch rush it didn't take too long as she carefully prepared our food. It almost felt like she was our mom making us... More

We tried the chivito which was very well prepared and delicious. Takes some time but worth the wait. Highly recommend for a small snack on the street side.

At Los Farolitos you can eat a genuine uruguayan chivito at a really afordable price. Also, its panchos with mozzarella are the best I've had.

OMG we just stumbled upon this place as it was close to the car rental places. It is a roadside, unexpected gem. Got practically everything on it (sooooo many options) and it was mouthwatering delicious and amazing value!
