Thank you for a 5 star rating!
It is truly rewarding to know that your dining experience with us was nothing short of perfection.
We look forward to serving you again in the near future.
My daughter was craving for chinese food and son wanted to have south indian food. I was in a mood of having something hot and spicy and my wife was just hungry.
Kamat was the universal choice ! We ordered chines starters and soup, masala...dosa and then some north indian pav bhaji.
We also threw in a lovely pani puri in between !!! Loved the experience. Will definitely visit again !More
The restaurant is tastefully decorated and is situated in central location. The food is tasty and have good variety. The waiter's are customer friendly and service is good. If you are in sharjah this is must visit if looking for veg food. Highly recommend.
Kamat is one of our favorite vegetarian restaurant. Their thali is so delicious even though there is limited variety .. it’s definitely worth it! Dosa & idly from kamat are great for breakfast..The ambience is really nice & neat. The overall service is pretty good.
Being regular travellers to Sharjah we always visit this restaurant as it is a family favourite and the food has always been good.
But during our recent visit we had a bad experience where the management accused us of not paying our bill for a...previous visit during our stay. How ridiculous is that? They suggested that we did not pay for an item of food (Paneer) that we had ordered.
First of all know one in the family eats paneer (cottage cheese) so we would not have ordered that anyway.
Second, how would we have paid for a partial bill, when we had made only one order? and if we had not paid do you think they would have let us out the restaurant?
My husband was absolutely furious as being accused in front of all the guests and our kids for a bill that did not belong to us and the nerve of the manager to request a payment from a previous visit? My husband asked the manager to show us the bill he was referring to so that we can compare the 2 bills but guess what?? He could not provide this.... I wonder why?? absolute joke if you ask me.
After the commotion the manager had created and all other guests prying he took as to the front of the restaurant ( i guess he was embarrassed, and too right, he should be) and apologised but it was too late..... we decided that we will not be returning to this place again which is a shame, not for us but for Kamat as they have lost a loyal customer but then again loyalty these days doesn't give you anything.
We will be trying some place else now when we do go back for a visit.More

Kamat maintains a zero tolerance policy for such acts of negligence on part of our service personnel. Such unacceptable behavior has never been tolerated in the past, and certainly will not be entertained in the future.
Our sincere apologies for that impermissible incident....More
