Not only can you get very good coffee (prepared by a Uganda champion barista) but you also support both the farmers and the wildlife in Uganda. Recommended !

It is surprisingly hard to find a decent espresso in Uganda, a country which produces a giant heap of coffee beans. Here however you’ll find a solid espresso made with locally sourced beans. Has a great story too as its roots are in the conservation...of the gorilla habitat. Your best bet for a great espressoMore

When we got to our air b&b, they had little bags of Gorilla Coffee. We were so intrigued that we walked to the café. The staff on duty were really friendly and both the coffee and the African tea were delicious.

I like the work done here by Dr Gladys kalema and her team conservation through public health and now gorilla conservation coffee. I normally pass by to buy coffee beans for my clients as we head back to Entebbe international airport.

I was greeted by Ruth who works at the cafe. She was very welcoming and gave me some great information on what and how the Cafe helps the gorilla conservation organization. I am a huge supporter of conservation and educating communities so everyone, of course...including those beautiful gorillas, can use and live safely in the forest and surrounding area. Thank you to Richard and Dr. Gladys for suggesting I take some time to stop at the cafe before flying back to Canada. Thank you Ruth for the delicious capaccino! MarieMore

Not only is the coffee great (I had mocha, and my wife had cappuccino), the view and the air on the terrace is nice, the service is kind. Also after trekking the Gorillas, sleeping in the Gorilla Conservation Camp and visiting the coffee farmers in...Buhoma, we are a fan of the great cause that combines Gorilla conservation and community support. If you are in the area - go there.More
