We used to love Sarnic but in our opinion it went downhill with the change of owner in 2013. Nevertheless we decided to try it again on our latest visit. Disaster! It is now a "Tapas" restaurant called Kalos and frankly the only thing it now has to recommend it is the wonderful setting. We tried the Tapas plate which,... More

This restaurant is set right in the ruins of Kayakoy, surrounded by nature, goats, ruins.... The minute you walk in there is an atmosphere of tranquility. The food is authentic, fresh and there is a large vegetarian option. The ambience is unhurried. It is a very peaceful place, suitable for all. Definitely the sort of place where a glass of... More

We had a drink in Sarnic restaurant while visiting Kayakoy. We enjoyed the ambience so much we decided to return for dinner. We were given a free transfer, arranged by the owner, to and from Ovacik, which is not something that has been offered to me before. We had a 3 course meal, which was beautifully presented and tasty. Portions... More

Awesome restaurant located at the entrance to the ghost town at Kayakoy. Delicious food and friendly hosts. They also showcase paintings and exhibits for local artists.

We stumbled across the Sarnic when we were visiting Kayakoy and went back for dinner the next evening. We were kindly picked up from Ovacik by Bilal and dropped home at the end of the meal. The setting is fantastic and truly beautiful. The food is of the highest quality and beautifully presented. Inside was a lovely gallery of photo's... More

Sarnic is tucked away from the main road (but signposted) along a dusty track that gives no clue to the lovely garden restaurant you find as you step into the courtyard. We enjoyed a drink in the cool and leafy garden and returned in the evening for a fabulous Turkish dinner with so much choice from the many dishes on... More

Beautiful shady setting, great service and fantastic food. Couldn't have asked for more. Lots of space for out daughter to run around and play! Also, went for the special large menu so great value for money.

Had a lovely lunch at this wonderful restaurant run by Bilal and his charming English wife Sarnic is situated at the foot of the ruins of Kaya koy; up a little dirt track you will find a the door way into Sarnic’s cobbled garden set amounts leafy trees and fragrant flowers. The setting is quite magical and the food excellent.... More

A cool shaded place to have a welcome break on a hot day. We visit the Fethiye area two or three times a year and always eat here at least once on each trip. The food (and wine) is excellent - fresh and well cooked and the meze plate is the best we have tasted in Turkey - great value too.... More

We were exploring Kaya in early May 2013 when we found Sarnic, tucked away up a little lane. Being hot, hungry & thirsty after a couple of hours walking, we found a lovely table in dappled shade & really enjoyed a delicious light lunch & couple of drinks. we were in a leafy little oasis & it was just lovely.The...
