My husband and I recently visited Konya and Konak Mutfagi is definitely a restaurant to visit. Service was great . Prices reasonable . Food excellent . Fresh homemade butter and Ayran a yoghurt drink and the tamarind drink too was awesome . Loved the deserts and the salads and lamb ribs .

We stopped there for lunch while travelling through Konya on the way to Cappadocia. Reasonable service, but poor English. I had stew lamb, and it came between two pieces of Turkish bread. Not my idea of lamb stew. My wife had ocker soup, and it was too salty. She had to send it back to be diluted with hot water.... More

I had only one night in Konya and went to this place as it is highly recommended by Lonely Planet. But the food wasn't as good as the rave reviews. We ordered three dishes and all were very salty. Don't count of the staff to explain dishes to you in simple English. The home-made yogurt was very good though.

We visited this restaurant yesterday evening as two budget tourists staying at the Otel Konak on Ayanbey Sokak near the Mevlana Museum. To the restaurant was a 10 minute walk on a C 2 degrees chilly evening. There is an outside eating area decorated with colorful lights but we were ushered upstairs into a building reminiscent of an alpine restaurant... More

I came to the restaurant for ramadab iftar abd there were around 700 persons. The service was good and food ok. Nothing michalin-like, but ok. Maybe because of the stress of ramadan. Will visit them after ramadab again

We had been recommended this restaurant by our hotel. because they spoke little English, they gave us the choice of a fixed menu for 30 lire and said we could have one of these and one of these! We had a large bottle of water and 2 bottles of coke as our drinks although they did bring tea during the... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by our guidebook. It is not a restaurant geared to westerners who do not speak Turk. The dining room is interesting, but the food which was difficult to select was absolutely overcooked. We did not feel well until noon the following day.

I went there with my wife. The Bamya Soup was OK, however, Arabası soup was not as expected. The pide was average as well. The desert named irmikli dondurma was not good.
