I visited Şifa again and had yet another wonderful experience. The tandır kebab is absolutely the best!!! Service was excellent and the food came in less than 2 minutes! I'll be back....

This was our first restaurant we went to while in Konya and it came recommended by the locals. We enjoyed some Etli Ekmek which Konya is known for (to me it was no different than Pide which can be found all over Turkey). It was very good, however. The service was a bit transactional and the waiter wasn't too interested... More

A lokanta is a restaurant with a few, ready made dishes, and this is an excellent lokanta! Cheap food, slow cooked and the place where the lokals eat. Like a pub without beer...

This restaurant is large and has an excellent location on one of the main streets in Konya. The place seems to be busy most of the time so we tried it for a lunch. I selected the chicken skewers and Vern had one of the Turkish Pizza's from the menu. The service was a bit slow due to the number... More

As I am vegetarian , finding food was a bit of challenge specially when they put meat juice even over rice and practically everything which does not contain meat ,might be meaty . However in Sifa , I found vegetarian good food served in a family friendly atmosphere and friendly staff .

Anywhere else in the world this eating place, with it bright lights and complete lack of charm would be considered to be a working mans café, however the food is of reasonable quality and excellent value. The Lonely Planet recommendation is well deserved.

The restaurant is big but simple and sparse. Basic tables & chairs nothing fancy. Clean and looks hygienic. Had a meal there and it was filling. Absolute value for money. And when you see locals also having their dinner, you know you cannot be wrong :-)

My wife and I went here twice. Good service and decent food hence hour return. We tried: Etli ekmek - solid choice. Very popular with the locals. Firin kebab - sold out the first time we went. The meat was tender and delicious. Not enough meat to bread ratio though. Yoghurt - first time was so good we ordered it... More

Very fairly priced for very good food and excellent service. There is a reason so many locals eat here. The Mercimek (lentil soup) was delicious. The Etli Ekmek (mince pizza) also very good and a huge portion. If I were staying longer, I would eat here again and try some other items off the menu. You will not be disappointed... More
