Good coffee and sweets in an open air setting. If you have no sweet tooth, you can relax there tasting four varieties of Gara Kuzu, Turkish artisan beer, with a plate of mozzarella and smoked beef, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with slices of...ripe meaty tomatoes and basil. They also serve wine from their own vineyard, good Cabernet Sauvignon.
I would recommend to have a lunch in one of two friendly establishments a few steps away, Ozlem (inexpensive, unpretentious, hearty local cuisine; gozleme (stuffed pancakes) are arguably the best in Turkey), or Sedir (high quality place, also exceptionally good for dinner - and they serve wine from Uzum), and then have coffee with ice cream and sweets at Uzum; these three establishments, each in its own ecological niche, do not compete with, but nicely complement each other.More
