The lentil soup is absolutely delicious, as was the Turkish special served on a large iron skillet. The owner is very attentive. Good value, around 17TL per person including soup and a drink. Probably our best meal in Cappadocia and better than a much more expensive restaurant we visited the next day. The food is simple but delicious. Certainly great... More

Frill free type of restaurant. Lovely portion, excellent quality and humble price. I ordered the vegetarian vegetable stir fry. Truly lovely, was peppers and eggplants and potato cooked together served with pickled vegetables and bread. Owner speaks fluent english and english menu is provided. Highly recommended.

It is a small family owned restaurant with very delicious food and cosy atmosphere. We had manti, soup and beans with rice. All was delicious and only for 10€. Definately recommmended

We stopped for a casual lunch after a morning hike through the Valley of Roses as our guide recommended. The proprietor was wonderful to talk to and his food was cheap and delicious. It was all prepared by him on the spot. The food everywhere in Turkey is good, and the choices are plenty. But I can say that this is... More

We were recommended this place by some fellow travellers and we were absolutely blown away. Our server, Colman Zengin was magnificent and we really felt like valued customers. This was the best service I have ever experienced in all of my travels and the food was amazing too. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area. I... More

It may not be fancy, but if you're in the mood for some quality Turkish fare after a long day of hiking, inside is a warm, family run establishment, with excellent home cooked food. The vegetable dish and the clay pot stew are excellent, and ask for some hot mezze, Vulcan will recommend some good ones. Very affordable, terrific atmosphere... More

It is a simple restaurant with real Turkish Hospitality. They explain the menu, and serve with passion. Tried the best Pottery Kebab here, it is serve hot and you will have the chance to 'break' the earthen pot, and smell the flavour of turkish spices before you dip your bread to taste the gravy. You can have it with bread... More

It was so good we ate here two of the three nights we spent in Urgup. My husband fell in love with the sautéed liver. I had lamb on aubergine purée with garlic yoghurt and chicken shish. Each night we were also given a delicious salad bread and tea and coffee. Volkan, the owner, speaks good English and is a... More

This small family restaurant has friendly people and great food. We had the lamb kebabs and the beef, which both came with rice and salad. This is Good regional food, fresh and well cooked. Recommend this place, and the couple we were with had returned for more!
