This was one of the best restaurants we ate at in Turkey. Be sure to call ahead and order a pottery kebab, it's worth it!!

Do not waste your time or money! The food is tasteless, blend and overpriced. I ordered the meatballs and all I got was a soupy sauce with some blend meatballs in it. I thought there will be least some rice or potatoes as a side...dish but NO! That is all you get. There are better restaurants out there. Try the Seten Restaurant at the Sultan Cave Suites instead.More

The restaurant is cozy and the atmosphere is beautiful. Though this was the only charm of the place. We took the degustation main cours for 2 and the size of the plates was small, the food tasteless and not at all proportioned to the price....The service was poor, for example the main course came with the spices and nobody explained how to use it. They seem in hurry and occupied with other stuff. Not at all the kind of experience I did expect from a place of this range of price. A delusionMore

This restaurant has received a lot of raves as one of the best in Goreme, but we do not agree. The food was fine but nothing special. The wine list was more extensive than most but also more expensive. Service was perfunctory, which was so...unlike the rest of Turkey. The floor tables are situated so that you are facing another table; it felt quite awkward to constantly be catching strangers' eyes while eating. Overall, it was our least satisfying meal in Goreme.More

Recommended by our guide as a best place to try traditional Testi Kebab which was absolutely delicious. inside the restaurant you feel like in a cave and sitting on the floor with shoes off. Bit on a pricey side but well worth the experience :)

Great food and good wine. Note that the cheapest house wine is TL 140. Service is not all equally friendly. 2nd tip; order main course after you have finished starter otherwise you will get everything at once and you will be out again within a...hour. That doesn't feel welcoming.More

Saved my appetite the whole day for the highly lauded testi kebab and i couldn’t have been more disappointed. My husband had the chicken and I had the beef. Both extremely bland with burnt undertones. Hungry as I was, I couldn’t get through it. The...cheesy flatbread starter was the best thing we had. This was the most expensive meal we’ve had in Cappadoccia and it was sooooo underwhelming. A tourist trap indeed. To add insult to injury, there were two couples (From America and Britain presumably) who shared a very intimate area with us and went on and on having the loudest and most obnoxious and tone deaf conversation about how absolutely blessed and well travelled they are, making it impossible for us to Atleast attempt to enjoy the average meal. The restaurant is unfortunately collateral damage in that regard but it just made it a more disappointing experienceMore

Dibek is known for being one of the few restaurants in Cappadochia that serves authentic “testi kebab” – meat cooked in clay pots. The restaurant requests that you order this several hours in advance as it takes a long time to cook it properly. Don’t...bother. Everything was wrong about the place. The service – unusually for Turkey – was cavalier and unwelcoming. Staff were unfriendly – the manager verging on hostile – and slapdash with orders mixed up and dirty dishes left on the table. The food was ordinary at best: bread was stale, mezze was tasteless fodder typically served to foreigners (there were no Turkish diners) and the much-vaunted testi kebab was bland. What’s more, this was by far the most expensive meal we had during our five days of otherwise bliss in Göreme. There is a lot of choice in the town with some wonderful restaurants, so my advice is to avoid Dibek.More

We didn’t know it then, but we didn’t need to make reservations for this local diner (since we were a party of 2) We ordered the local favorites of: 1. MANTI: dumplings filled with spicy beef, boiled like pasta. Then they are served with garlicky...yogurt and spicy butter sauce. Add a pinch of sumac, and what you have is a to-die-for combination! 2. TESTI KEBABI: a specialty of Cappadocia, it is a combination of meat and vegetables cooked in their own juice inside a sealed clay pot. When ready, breaking the clay pot is the only way to eat it. We were offered a huge spread of salads and appetizers before the main course, which was standard. One of the must visit dining spaces in Goreme, Cappadocia, the atmosphere of this place was warm, friendly, and the crowds were all smiles at the efficient service of the stars of this homey eatery. Our host even offered to take us to the small winery at the back of the dining hall to take pictures and sample homemade delicacies. Do visit them when you can. It will be a great addition to your already memorable trip.More

This restaurant was recommended by a local shop owner after I mentioned that I wanted some good manti (Turkish ravioli). I had it a couple other places but it had not been as good as I knew it could be and this place delivered. All...in a traditional style setting if sitting on cushions on the floor around the table. My friend hit the white beans with lamb and loved it as well.More

You can easily publish your review here: ask TripAdvisor: restaurant Dibek, Goreme and there you are. I did and it works. Really perfect place for dinner and I advised all the guests to visit this restaurant.
