Looking for something to eat after 11 p.m., we found this restaurant (all others on the way had closed kitchen). We loved the experience so much that we returned twice during our stay in Goreme. The best eggplant salad. All dishes we tried in our group of 4 during 3 times visits were excellent. Highly recommend.

This place has all the things that I appreciate in a restaurant: great food, amazing view and an incredible service. The place is big enough for hosting hundred opeople at the same time, but Alaturka also has the space and environment to host solo travellers. The price of the main dish was reasonable. I ordered a pottery kebab and a... More

A pleasant place to relax after touring Cappadocia! I loved the ambiance and the food was delicious. I was so glad to have something other than kabobs.

We went here based on the reviews on TA. There seems to be a problem since we had possibly the worse meal of all of our 4 weeks in Turkey. The place does not live up to the hype or the facade it presents. The service was perfunctory, almost rude. The food was decidedly lacklustre - to illustrate, we ordered... More

Bad quality food (pre-fried potatoes, bad quality meat), small portions, very expensive compared to other restaurants and bad service. Doesn't remind you of the traditional Turkish cuisine. Don't be fooled by its good looks, definitely a tourist trap to avoid!!

The ambiance was soothing. We were tired after all day walking and stopped by this restaurant. This was the our first evening in Goreme and we enjoyed our first dine in. The lamb dish was delicious and we were greeted by a group of singers. We were served by Salim and his colleague and they were kind enough to click... More

In the heart of Cappadocia, and probably in one of the most interesting natures of the world where cultures and civilizations are mingled, the A’la Turca restaurant is established in 2003 in order to represent and showcase the anatolian food in the world through the touristic activity in Cappadocia. Therefore we made the difference in our cuisine concept compared to the restaurants of the region. And now, in 2013, we pushed over the limits of our menu to encompass the whole traditional turkish food, revisited by our Chef.
