We came for an early evening meal in July 2021 and had good expectations from the reviews. The location is excellent with a superb sunset and views over the Mediterranean sea, though quite close to the road (though few cars were on the road while...we ate and we weren’t disturbed by them). There is no menu, though our friendly host was fairly clear on the price of different things after ordering and checking the availability of different things. A couple of very fresh sea-bass were the highlight of the meal, but unfortunately the only real highlight. Grilled perfectly with plenty of juiciness and char, they needed salt and lemon, but both were provided. The remainder however consisted of poorly prepared and overcooked calamari, a rough chopped, indifferent salad, and unsalted once-cooked oily potato chips with little colour to them. Perhaps the usual kitchen chef(s) were absent, but whoever was cooking needs a few basic lessons in modern cooking. A meal that could have been so much more but was let down by apparent inattention this day. We hope to come back someday for a better meal. The price of the fish was appropriate, if not the rest.More

Have driven past this restaurant on many occasions over the 7 yrs we have been coming to Kalkan and have never popped in until tonight. We were very surprised and captivated by its rustic charm and an escape from hustle and bustle of Kalkan. We...sat inside as it was a little windy on the terrace where the sunset views were spectacular. No menus and you basically have the catch of the day with salad, and homemade chips like your mamma used to make. No need to dress up for the occasion as the relaxed atmosphere takes you as you are. Family run even down to the fisherman who caught the fish. Dad cooks on a large bbq outside and the ladies of the house run the kitchen with the son being the perfect host. A true gem of a bygone era. It's situated on the right as you leave Kalkan on your way to Kaş. Would highly recommend.More

Seriously if you like good quality simple fish you cannot go wrong here!!! The fish is so fresh and the calamari and garlic dip are to die for. I love the fact you get a range of different fish choices you wouldn’t normally get and...you eat what there is, no menu, nothing fancy but amazingly tasty food!!! It’s definitely worth the ride out there, went several times on our last visit to Kalkan and know we will on this visit!!!More

We stumbled across this restaurant on the roadside just a few minutes from Kaputas Beach. It’s on the right side of the road as you are driving to Kas from the beach. We first had a look around and were convinced to stay for a...late lunch by two Turkish tourist foodies who were also dining there and were very complimentary about the food. Thank goodness we did. The setting was simple but sublime – we sat on an outdoor terrace perched on the cliffside with stunning views of the Mediterranean. Mustafa, one of the family owners, was a genial host and we were made to feel like dinner guests in their home by him and his family. In contrast to most of the restaurants in Kas, the fish and seafood here are not farmed but freshly caught from the sea by his brother (who is a fisherman) the same day. We chose to have the seabass and calamari (see pics), which were grilled/fried to perfection by his elderly parents whilst we looked on, accompanied by a delicious fresh salad. There was no spicing, sauce or marinade – the taste of the ocean in the wild-caught fish/squid was more than ample flavour. Given the quality/freshness of the ingredients, I found the price to be reasonable relative to other lesser establishments in Kas. It was our stand out dining experience during our holiday. If you are visiting Kaputas beach or passing by, be sure to go – you won't be disappointed.More

We have been here several times over the years and it is always worth the 10 minute drive away from Kalkan to eat here. A family run business, the guy presents you with a tray of fish to choose from, he comes back with a...price (not the cheapest but nowhere in Kalkan is) and then his dad cooks it over the coals... served with fresh salad and a cold beer overlooking the sea too watch the sunset...it couldn’t get any fresher or more authentic.,.. a must go to restaurant.More

We have been to Ada many times over the years and it has never disappointed. It is not fine dining but what you do get is an unforgettable location overlooking the islands, sea and a remarkable Lycian arch. You get a choice of fresh fish...which you choose from whatever Mustafa’s brother has caught that day, salad, chips, Calamari and meatballs! The fish are cooked on a barbecue fuelled by olive wood and everything else is prepared while you wait. Don’t be put off if it looks closed when you arrive, give a shout and wander round the back to take in the view. Sunsets are fantastic but do take mosquito repellent.More

We stopped today at this seafood restaurant on our way to Kalkan. What a gem! We were the only guests as this is out of season. The manager was honest telling us that he could only serve fish and calamari. We had grilled seabass with...french fries and tomato salad. It was simple and delicious, perfectly cooked. We sat outdoor enjoying a gorgeous view. Great place.More
