Local cuisine, local decoration, service excellent. A must when in Djerba. The stuffed calamari when in season is a must. The staff are very friendly and accomadating.

we found this restaurant a bit disappointing although the good reviews from other travellers. the food, we chose the lamb, was ok, but the portions too small and many things were not on the menu. decent but nothing special. we loved the antiques hanging on the walls.

Looks like an old farm house inside. Good music. Lovely starters (harrissa; potato and aubergine; sweet onion and tomato). Plenty of choice of Tunisian dishes. Main portions not too big, which is good because a plate of fruit to finish is huge. Deliciously dark and sweet mint tea. Friendly waiter explained what the dishes contained. Unfortunately, no ice cream available,... More

This family is family run. It serves dishes typical to the Island of Djerba. You find dishes not available elsewhere, dishes that are normally prepared only at home. Prices are reasonable and servings abundant. I did not find the sitting very comfortable but the food is good and the place decorated with traditional items, it is a mini-museum.

We had a very good local couscous in the Djerbian style (fish and special spices). As a started we had a tunisian soup (frik), it was also very good.

Disappointed by this place - food was okay, service was friendly but I hadn't finished my starter of before my main was brought to the table and the starter was taken away. There were only 3 tables, including mine, with patrons eating so I don't understand the rush at 8pm in the evening. I was looking forward to a relaxed... More

Very welcoming owner, he makes you feel at home and is very nice, he will guide you through the choices of dishes, the food is very good, it is like home cooking. The decor is simple and the ambiance is relaxed. Service is fast and prices are very good. They accept credit cards but the day we went the terminal... More

Great food. Very welcoming. We didn't order anything from the menu. We just asked if we could have a really big fish (for 4 ) with whatever the chef wanted. And it turned out to be great. I definitely recommend this Restaurant.

The food is like home cooking, as is the warmth of the staff. Particularly good for lunch. Modestly priced. No alcohol.
