My first visit to this restaurant was fifty years ago. As a kid I was more taken with the dining room knight and the shirley Temples. As an adult, the food is the standout. Yes, you will spend money at this restaurant, but the quality...More

Cavallario's is the only restaurant in Alex Bay to get a quality meal. Some reviewers said it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. I have no issue dropping coin on steak and seafood, so if you're cheap, find a pizza joint to visit....More

Prime rib was awsome as well as the rest of our meals from the appetizers to dessert. Great atmosphere and the outdoor bar is a nice addition, the staff was great and the price is fair.

We had to ask for horseradish sauce. And no baked potato????? Iceberg lettuce in the salad; who still does that? However, with it being low season in 1000 islands area, there aren't many choices if you're eating out.

We vacationed in the area recently and went into town looking for a good dinner and some fun. Upon arrival, we chose to sit at a high top table in the bar section vs. the dining room as it was Saturday night and we figured...More

I would hesitate to eat out with anyone with nut allergies that severe. Even if it's not in the dish sometimes it can be in the kitchen and that could be enough. Call them and ask but I wouldn't take the chance.
