My family and I are from the Buffalo area, where we have grown accustomed to great pizza. We were nervous to order pizza while in Alexandria Bay, but Cavallario's made us a delicious pepperoni and banana pepper pie! We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Awful experience with owner (bald guy). Very arrogant and thinks he is doing you a favor by ordering a pizza from him. The guy can literally only do one thing at a time so if you order a fountain drink with your order don't expect to get it. He will take everyone's order in line and then just walk away... More

We visit Cavallirio's for pizza almost every time we come to the 1000 islands over the summer. The food is always good and hot and the staff is always working hard. Plus it's always nice to eat your pizza right next to the dock and the water! The only downfall is waiting. You wait in line to order for a... More

We wandered in here on Saturday afternoon in early July. It was busy but the food was so tasty! It was clear that some people have been coming here forever and others, like us were here for the first time. We did have to wait awhile for our pizza but the fried pickles were a good warm up! The pizza... More

Well, we arrived for dinner around 7 pm on a Sunday evening- our friends ordered a small pizza with broccoli and green peppers. We were next and ordered a small thin crust, extra cheese pizza only to be told we can't get thin crust- they're all the same! (It was way too thick for us- about 3/4. Inch thick.). We... More

My husband and I went for a walk and ended up here to eat the pizza was good, the chicken wings could of ben cooked more and the staff was very busy and customers were feeling rushed and the wait time was long.

The restaurant was almost empty yet we had to wait over an hour for our pizza, which didn't taste very good either. The man behind the counter was rude when we asked how much longer too. Do not waste your time or money here.

If you want a good pizza or wings or salad or whatever, this is the place. We've eaten here for many many years while in the Bay on vacation. The deck seating, overlooking the town dock and comings and goings of the boats, cannot be beat. The only negative I can think of is that it can get quite crowded.... More

I am giving a 1 star because the sandwich I had was good. That being said the bald man working the counter was VERY rude. There was only one sandwich on the menu that did not have meat and I requested to have additional vegetables added, even offered to pay extra. He just looked at me and said no. I... More

So many people commenting on the pizza, but the subs are worth the money! Do yourself a favor and try one! There's nothing better than grabbing one to go before you hop back in the boat after an afternoon in the Bay.
