No longer Chez Paris since 2021

This was sold in 2021 and is under a new name. Cooks are the same but waitstaff is new and does the bare minimum. Waitress forgot toast with breakfast but vanished after putting plates on the table to a hutch area where she chronically checked the phone. Never bothered to come back to the table.

Great place for breakfast.

My wife and I have been coming to Alex Bay for over 10 years and we always start our day at the Chez Paris. Many many great food items and specials. The OJ is always cold and the coffee hot. Stop in and say hi to Tammy.

start with difficult to find somewhere in a town that you visit, not the case here, spotless and a staff that is so eager to serve with a smile, yes a smile...we went for lunch one day there, had the best chicken soup and salad so fresh, we went back the next day for breakfast, the best french toast with marcapone and fruit, so perfectly made, omelets tasty, so good, 4 fussy eaters and we all were pleased, just go, you will not be sorry

$2.25 for a single CAN of soda

An otherwise excellent breakfast was spoiled because soda is served in small cans for $2.25 and you only get one. Unfortunately, I'm not a coffee drinker because you get an "endless" cup of coffee for less money . The owner thought that was reasonable because you got some "service" with it.

Best Breakfast in Town

We always have our breakfast here everyday of our annual visits. The food is excellent and the wait staff is. Always attentive and courteous. The owner Tammy is always friendly and greats her customers.

we arrived to an empty room. That should have been a clue. But we were tired and hungry, so my husband went to look for someone. Finally saw a lady coming out of the kitchen. We felt like we were intruding. She told us to sit anywhere, then took our order. There were several things on the menu that she didn't have. Our meal was average (hard to mess up cheeseburgers). When I asked for a refill on my soft drink she said it would be an extra charge. Really? She offered me water. Cash only. They did have an ATM for our convenience...

Great diner. Fast service. Food excellent.

I love diners. Always like the diner feel as opposed to the more formal restaurant setting. Diners with gleaming stainless steel outer walls, retro 50's stools and tables, friendly people, locals and travelers, changing dishes, laughter, and waitresses who know when your coffee cup needs filling. Well, the Chez Paris is not exactly like my fantasy diners, but it is still a great choice for breakfast, prices reasonable, clean and open airy feel, and super fast service. If you go to 1000 Islands and Alexandria Bay, make it a point to go there for a bite to eat. You will be pleased indeed, as my wife and I were during a July 2019 trip.

Disappointing breakfasts, gone downhill

Fried eggs cooked right but grill dirty—covered with black specks. Bacon paper thin. Ham overcooked, like leather. Home fries obviously frozen, not like they used to be made with fresh potatoes. Food came pretty quickly, but no drink refills or checking to see if food was okay.
