Great Food, Ambiance Not So Good

We ate at the Old Phuket location. We've been bouncing about SE Asia for a month, now, and this was the best tasting meal we've had. The food was excellent and the drinks were, too. It was a welcome break from traditional Asian cuisine. However, to make this a great 5-star dining experience, the front of the restaurant needs an overhaul. The lighting was way too bright. The stand alone tables and chairs need replacing with booths or something to break up the large sterile cafeteria feel of the dining room. Viewing from the street, I thought we had made a mistake going to this place. We did not. The food is reasonably priced with most portions being smaller than those I am accustomed to in the US. Mixed drinks were very expensive. If you stick to beer, drinks are much cheaper. Staff knew what it was doing and was fast and efficient. For the 3 of us adults we spent 3050 Baht. Of that, 1870 Baht was for alcoholic drinks. With the included service fee and tax our total was 3590 Baht or $107 US; by far our most expensive meal over the past month. I highly recommend this place.

We throughly enjoyed our meal at Bon, the staff were welcoming and helpful in understanding some of the dishes that were new to us. The menu is creative and the Chef team really care about food and presentation. There are many many restaurants and food outlets in this area, most of which cater to the fast , quick and cheap dining options Bon Tapas is not cheap when compared to many but it is catering to those that appreciate quality product well cooked and presented. This is a Tapas restaurant so don’t expect massive portions, but enjoy savouring a select of smaller dishes to get a variety of tastes. The atmosphere is cool with great vibe music, we really think Bon deserves to do well and hopefully will return soon.

Yeah we’ve eaten in the cheap places and they’re usually decent but this is a level up. For £25 a head we had several very well presented and tasty Thai tapas dishes and creative cocktails. Service was good but a bit slow to get us the bill. Stood out as best meal we had in Pataya.

The quality of the food is disgusting, the portions are very small, the kebabs are all fat, there is practically no meat, the kebab weighs 80-90 grams, and 2/3 of the meat is fat and cartilage; Tacos have cartilage instead of chicken; Out of the entire dinner, I couldn’t eat a single dish at all. creepy place! when we complained to the waiter about the quality of the food, she shrugged and walked away, not a single item was removed from the bill, although they were all inedible.

The best meal I've ever had in Phuket. Every dish was delicious, if I had to really nit pick I'd say the taco shells could have been more crisp. Great service, I sat at the bar and the chef was loquacious, he even asked me to try a new dish he was experimenting with, which was very tasty. The price was very reasonable, I had about eight dishes, a drink and it all came to about 1000baht.

I ordered around 2000 baht worth of food for myself and my girlfriend. Not cheap, but not too expensive as we both left very full. The fried chicken was absolutely fantastic. Teriyaki chicken skewers super fantastic. All really delicious, and presentation was amazing… I must say though, personally I did NOT enjoy the black pasta with lobster. Sauce was like tomyum sauce? I enjoy tomyumgung but this pasta sauce is not something I would recommend for people looking for a classic pasta. I even cleansed my mouth/palette a few times to have an honest opinion, but I think the chef could work on this dish a little bit.

The staff was nice and the music was pleasant. The food was ok, but over priced. This is a tapas place, not fine dining. I ordered one drink, lobster pasta, 4 tacos and some meat thing and the bill came to almost 3000 baht! To put that amount in perspective, I sent 3500 baht total on lunch and dinner for 3 days, prior to the tapas place. I wouldn’t mind spending that amount of money if the food was great. The lobster dish was pasta and 3 small piece of lobster on top. It tasted ok, but nothing to rave over. The taco were good, but over priced. I can’t imagine what the bill would be for a couple or a family. With so many food options on that same street, i would avoid this place.

An epic selection of asian delights

High quality asian cuisine and Ninja like service! I wish I could go back so we could work our way through the menu. There is a great selection of dishes to choose from on the beautifully curated menu. The chefs are highly skilled and show great attention to detail. Each dish we tried was executed perfectly with a creative twist. We chose the squid ink and lobster spaghetti- Bathed in a bisque sauce with caviar. The meats are cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth wagu was exceptional. There are many quirky little touches to the restaurant decor too which gives the whole experience a fun vibe while you're dining. Be sure to check out the signature dishes 😉. Take a seat at the bar with an open kitchen where you can see the chefs in action. A special experience we are greatful for and thankyou team for looking after us.:)

Located not far from the center, this restaurant offers a warm setting with a kitchen open to the room. The service is as friendly as it is efficient. And the plate? The kitchen is indefinable because it is original. It draws its sources both in the East and in the West with a little detour to Latin America... Tapas combine originality and finesse. Meat, pasta, seafood are cooked to perfection with a special mention for black lobster spaghetti which are a wonder. As there were four of us, we were given to taste quite a few different preparations. Everyone was delighted. What happiness! The bill is commensurate with the quality offered.

Very cosy, stylish place with pleasant atmosphere and friendly and attentive personnel. Very delicious food - oysters and spaghetti with lobster and red caviar were amazing. Please note they charge extra money for service (10%) and tax (7%) in the bill.

Great food, really great food

Sensational food in a great casual atmosphere. Staff all friendly and efficient. No bad dishes, our favourite dishes: Beef Tongue, Australian Angus Striploin, Soy Glazed Eggplant Donburi and Signature Roasted Lamb skewer on rose willow branch.

Wonderful Asian Tapas place in Patong

Really enjoyed my diner here. The music is lovely and loud, as I liked it. The food is so good. I ordered the lamb skewer, miso cod and Australian Wagyu beef steak. All so good. Sitting on the bar seats and observing the chefs working on the dishes were really fun. Will come back again and again.

Food was unbelievable, taste buds were having a party. Every dish was identical and packed full of flavour. Everything on each dish we had had flavours that worked. Very cool and quirky. A must get is the cod, pork belly, aubergine & cauliflower. Delightful

We had high hopes for an amazing culinary experience. Unfortunately we were extremely let down. The music was so loud we couldn't speak across the table and just had to sit and stare at each other.. The bench seat inside was excruciating to sit on. OMG, the food is so overpriced that it's embarrassing that they can charge that in Patong. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the lobster with black spagetti was very nice. We spent over 3000b and had to go elsewhere to finish eating. 😢

The whole experience was fantastic. Beautiful night with breeze sitting outside and enjoying meticulously prepared plates. Each menu item had its own identity and incredible flavour. The chef and team have done a phenomenal job at this place. My wife and I loved the food and the care for detail on every aspect. Not a cheap meal but worth it every $
