We just randomly walked into this nice little place for breakfast and i gotta say it was very fortunate that we found it! The lady working there was very nice and friendly and the menu as various as tasty. Combined with the authentic book store atmosphere (you can buy and sell second hand books there) this place is definitely among... More

My friend read good reviews about this restaurant on TA so we drove there with the help of GPS. I think most of the patrons would have walked there because it is in the street where there are many cafes and cheaper hotels. I would describe it as a "backpacker" restaurant. This is not being derogatory, in fact it took... More

My girlfriend and I visited here and thought it was absolutely fantastic. The portion sizes were very generous and the chicken in both was perfect- no gristley bits, skin or bones. In my massaman curry there were large chunks of chicken breast and potatoes, my girlfriend had pa nang curry which she said was the best she had had in... More

I have visited this place a lot during the years and it has been a favorite but the old cook has gone with some of the best dishes. This time i tried Burmese curry and it was revolting i would recommend anyone to give this a miss very very salty. But i tried some food others in the group ordered... More

The Proprietress was extremely helpful, spoke English, and was helpful with amendments to dishes as I have some dietary restrictions. The restaurant itself is clean, has plentiful seating options, a nicely set-up area indoors for young children (books, toys), and an air-conditioned area for those trying to escape the heat. The garden and seating area out back are charming and... More

lovely coffee here and it has a book library to and newspaper. Although the food here is very nice i liked just sitting having a coffee watching the world go by and reading the paper. Pleasant place to sit. The food is a little expensive but out of the ordinary. Maybe the Burmese influence

Saw a bunch of good reviews so I decided to try it out. Just as most of the reviews, the food was very good! I had the red curry duck and an apple pie for dessert. They also offer a free taxi service home if you walked there or got dropped off.

The place is rather small and it was rather hot inside so we asked for a table outside. The food took a little while to be ready but that might be because we were there early. The dishes we got were rich in taste and not too expensive. Staff could be a bit more active.

The restaurant is located on a not to busy street, full of restaurants, bars and hotels. There speciality is local Thai food, which you pay a little more fore then on the street market. But it's worth the money. Proper portions and good quality.
