The food and service here were excellent. The staff catered for changes to the menu, where possible to ensure a great dining experience. The sport shown was appropriate to what you wanted.

when I was volunteering in Chiang rai my friends and I would always come to this place every Thursday for drinks and a good time. its the best.

The first time I entered Coconut's was because they had free pool (and there wasn't a swarm of ladies out front). The pool table is free, so it's a little used. This was in the afternoon. Fast forward to another evening (a Friday night) and you will see a handful (30-40) twenty-somethings crowding the bar with dance music booming from... More

I spoke with the owner on the way in who recommended their roast. Feeling not that hungry I opted for a BLT instead. The chef apparently forgot to toast the bread making it a pretty mushy endeavor for which the owner later apologized. If you do go, I'd advise going for whatever is their special that night.

Good vibe at night. one of the busier bars on the strip (although was here in off season so strip was generally quiet). The full english is a breakfast of champions. proper english break complete with baked beans and sausage and egg and....oh don't get me started, i might go and have another

Apologies for the late review (and perhaps things have improved in the meantime) but we have been travelling around SE Asia and are only now catching up with our restaurant and other reviews. We first visited Coconuts Bar in January 2011 immediately after arriving from Bangkok as it was the only place open near to our guest house at 2pm.... More

excellent english breakfasts, dinners, sunday roasts, salads, chillies, & the chunky chips are fantastic, very friendly & the owner is english & called kevin, establishment very clean, staff english speaking, pool table & different events for expats, every culture welcome.
