Located on the Saturday Walking Street, a lot of tourists visit this restaurant. Most of the staff can't speak English but they got an English menu. Food is quite authentic but might be too spicy for tourists. We ordered the Northern Thai platter with two types of sausages. One of them were really heavily flavorful. Fried pork with basil was... The food we had here was somewhat mixed. The Northern Thai sausage we had as a starter was good, but neither of our main courses were anything special (indeed there was something horribly bitter in my duck in red curry, which was definitely not right). Also the cost of the meal was we thought quite high by Chiang Rai standards.... More

Traditional northern Thai food, this is one of the best in Chiang Rai, like most of Chiang Rai, take bug repellent as the whole Chiang Rai area has a lot of standing water so many mosquitos etc. Food and service was very good, they have an English menu and Thai menu, ask for both as the Thai menu has more... Waited 30 minutes for this place to open. Asked if they did khao soi and the waitress said yes so I asked for that. She asked if I wanted chicken with it so I said yes. 5 minutes later I got some rice? Then after waiting 30 minutes I asked where my khao soi was. Another waitress said they didn't... More

The food was very good with a selection of Northern Thai dishes. It was very busy with Thai people and groups, we were lucky to be seated straight away. People who arrived after us has to queue and wait. Food came out fast and young staff were very attentive and very friendly.

We ate here and found the food delicious. The place is quite popular and there were a large group of people there who seemed to be from a tour. Nevertheless we were served in a reasonable amount of time and all the dishes we tried were very good. The food is typical of northern Thailand with a number of dishes... More

Family run restaurant serving authentic northern Thai cuisine. Friendly waitress didn't speak a word of English but, that didn't matter, she helped us work our way through the menu. We had the fat pork,, and spicy sausage as well as other dishes. They even found some wine for my non beer drinking missus. Quite a few locals eating there. It... More
