This is a friendly family run restaurant away from the beach in Cha am. It is very popular with the farang population (both expat and holidaymakers). I have to say that the food is very good. I am not sure if the people who commented that it was "food for farangs" were unlucky or if things have changed. However, we... More

Mum's underwent renovations in May 2014 and it's size was increased. But while the surroundings changed, the excellent food served there didn't. Mum's offers some of the best - and cheapest - food in ChaAm or Hua Hin 25 kms to the south. The whole range of Thai food is on offer at ridiculous prices. You can easily have a... More

This restaurant is run by a wonderful friendly Thai family. It's semi-outdoor and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. The food is always good and the prices very very good compared to the beach front restaurants. I operate a massage shop in Cha A, and eat there regularly. Customers are always asking where to eat and this is one of... More

Although you usually get the mild variety (for the Farangs) you can get the real thing when you ask for 'Thai style' or 'spicy'. We aten there often, and so far no disappointments. Service is fast, and with a smile, proces are low. A good choice!

The food is nice, but not spicy at all. It was neither asked how spicy we wanted it. Mainly frequented by retired Europeans and the price is fair.

The food is good however not spicey at all which spils it for me. However the restaurant has a large number of regulars (retired western couples that live there) who seem to enjoy it very much. Service was good.

Welcomed as an old friend, fresh food at half the price of the beach restaurants. I recommend the pineapple shake to drink and the penang curry, but everything is great and very good value. The menu has literal english translations, so if you know the name of the dish in Thai, ask for it (For example Tom Yum is on... More

Visited this reataurant based on reviews on here, big mistake, can't understand why this restaurant has received so many excellent reviews. We visited at 730pm on Sunday evening and there was no beef left nor soft drinks. Food was average and whilst well priced, not worthy of an excellent review. Toilet was adequate at best in comparison to other local... More
