My wife and I stopped by Shanga to tour the arts and crafts facility and decided to take advantage of their restaurant. What a great surprise! They offer a very good buffet style meal. BBQ fish and chicken, hot pastas and lots of fruit and...More

While the River House is by no means cheap, it is a lovely place to spend a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of Arusha. We were in the middle of a 2 month trip in Africa and decided to spend a day...More

We stopped here for a tour of the art and craft operation, followed by a leisurely lunch. The food was good with a nice variety of fresh fruits and veggies. A highlight for me was the well bbq'd fish, chicken, and beef. Nice attentive staff...More

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Also enjoyed shopping and touring the glass making and weaving facilities. They are doing a great service.

The restaurant and grounds are beautiful. I felt as though I was dining under a Chihuly creation, with the impressive chandelier overhead. Table setting was beautiful and food was great. Dessert was very creatively served. It is a perfect end to any safari.

Chicken, beef and fish barbeque style with fresh side dishes. We had a fixed menu as we were a group so we didn't have the champagne starter that others talk about. The grounds are very pretty. This was a lovely way to say goodbye to...More
