We went there with our kids. Staff was Super friendly and food was very good. Especially when your kids don't like Asian cuisine. Go there if you are in Taoyuan!

Great food, cold beer and good company. I love the music they play here as well as live music on Friday's.

After a year of living in Taoyuan, we continue finding ourselves at the HOP at least twice a week. The oven baked pizza is delicious and you have tons of options for toppings. The beer is cold and you have selections from around the world. What really makes it our home-away-from-home are the people. The bartender Kate always greets you... More

This small restaurant in Taoyuan city definitely must be consider an authentic American bar/ pizza place. The pizzas are simply delicious, cheesy and with extraordinary flavour. The wide variety of international beer and spirits, the gently staff and their easy access location. Makes this place a completely valuable destination.

It looks like outside the capital Taipei bar culture is something rather strange in Taiwan. It takes long time to find a places a foreigner can have a beer (the locals do not seem to have a habit to drinking in public places). The Hop seems to be almost the only hope in 2 million city. The local beer is... More

I am no stranger to the H.O.P...I visit every year. In June and July of 2015, I was struck once again by the wonderful sense of energy and life here. Many people choose this restaurant for special celebrations and it's easy to see why- while I was enjoying a glass of wine at the bar, a woman from a group... More

I found this little restaurant/pub by accident, and the accident was a happy one. I've been all around Asia and the H.O.P. has the closest to American-style pizza I've had in the past 8 years. The sauce is tangy and present which is not the norm anywhere in Asia. The toppings were tasty and the dough was baked to perfection.... More

Been here a few times with couple of friends, the food is quite good here, especially the buffalo wings. The restaurant isn't big, but pretty comfy anyway. If you're looking for a place serving food and drinks to meet up with your friends, this would be the place you're looking for. It's located in the city center of Taoyuan, and... More

The H.O.P. is a cozy establishment which offers great pizza, the best Buffalo wings in Taiwan, soft shell tacos, and many other tastes of home. We have cocktails, a wide variety of great bottled beers, and daily drink specials. Live music every Friday and Saturday so long as our musicians don't crash their scooters. Reservations are recommended.
