Well, as you can see from another views, some reviewers where shocked by China tourist buses. While this is truth, and you can't avoid this, first, choose correct a time when you want to come to Happy Panda. Come after sunset, and there will be no tourist buses. They come midday. Second - beware, that Happy Panda stands in middle... More

White Beach used to be the best beach in Kenting area. I say used to be because in the past 5 years it has become overcrowded with both tourists from China and local Taiwanese. The beach is nice enough if you took away the hundreds of people who throng there at weekends. Even midweek is packed at holiday time. Jet-skies... More

This is a place buzzing with activity, a great atmosphere and stunning sea views, - it's right on the sand. There is music playing, lots of tables to sit at, plenty with shade, all kinds of drinks, beers, fruit juices, teas and coffees, and lots of fast foods, - chips, pizzas, Chinese foods, ice cream etc. In February it was... We went in the middle of the week on a vacation to Kenting. The restaurant stalls were mostly closed because it wasn't a weekend or holiday. Food is ok, nothing special. Just overpriced, as expected for a tourist trap. Bathrooms cost NT$20 for women unless you spent money at the restaurants, in which case they would stamp your arm and... More

We went after a recommendation and found that the happy panda site was overrun with tour bus groups. The beach was a golden colour and the water was warm. Unfortunately we felt like the odd ones out trying to sunbathe and swim, as everyone else just rolled up their pant legs and took photos with the beach in the background.... More

The staff were really impolite. Especially the foreigner who sells Pizza. The bathrooms are only cleaned once a day which isn't enough as they were very dirty. There is also no breakfast served at the campsite. Other than that, the beach is beautiful.

Happy Panda is a bit out of the way unless you have a taxi or scooter. It is better to spend the money for a cab ride there and then catch a bus back to Kenting Avenue. The bus stop is a short walk from the Happy Panda entrance. Ask the locals if you cannot find it, make sure you... More

We came here in December when it was a bit cold so I assumed there wouldn't be so many people but I was wrong. There were swarms of kids on school trips and tour buses. The fortunate part was they would come in go within half an hour or so and they mostly hung out at the beach area. My... More

This is a nice stop off while talk to friends enjoy the sea front eat a snack and listen to the music on offer. The price prices are reasonable and good value.

A group of us was traveling through Kenting and we heard this place was nice. It's low season, so we didn't expected to see many people. The resort itself is nice, and it overlooks a nice beach. We were given a menu by the two lone bartenders, and after receiving a ticket that proved payment, we had to go order... More
