On arrival to hualien we discovered the cool place. Had the club sandwich and a green tea while friends went for waffles and fruit. Nice friendly staff and good food. Reasonably priced too Nice place to go in evenings as the piano is in the corner ready to go.

I'm new around here, but so far as I know, on-site roasted coffee is not common in Taiwan. Black Bobby makes a great espresso and has a wide variety of house-roasted beans, including some Hualien-grown beans. I was pleased by the price, service, skill, atmosphere and coffee flavour. i ordered beef and scrambled egg, which came without any egg. when we questioned this the waitress fried an egg and seemed to think this was acceptable. the orange juice was fake cheap watered crap. They charge 30$ to charge your phone/laptop even though you've paid for meals and drinks.

Juices are not fresh and food is nothing like it is supposed to be. They have no idea of what a scrambled egg is.. Coffee is not bad, but the rest is very basic. Vegetarian dishes on the menu are not, why bother having a section for vegetarian food if dishes are molybdenum meat and chicken?

This cafe is opposite the train station exit road, just over the pedestrian crossing. We Came here on the busiest day of the Taiwanese 4 day new year holiday. This is an oasis. I am a coffee snob and the siphon Indonesian is very good. Nice atmosphere and good food.

Located within a couple of minutes' walk of the Hualien train station, this little gem is a delight. It's quite small and the atmosphere is friendly and engaging. Their menu offers dozens of different coffees and teas and a good selection of light meals. We had dropped in for a lunchtime snack. We had been in Taiwan for about 10... More
