Absolutely love this place - cannot fault it at all. Gorgeous lakeside location with private tables by the waters edge. The young waiter that served us was so lovely and so attentive. The food was first class and definitely the best sri lankan food we had during our stay here - great vegetarian options too. The staff went the extra... More

We had a beautiful table right on the waterside. This was my second visit. The food is good if a little unrefined. Unfortunately the service is incredibly slow and untrustworthy. Drinks went to wrong tables and others didn't come. Staff were very friendly. Overall experience is nice.

My partner and I both had wonderful meals at DiyaSisila. The menu is succinct and focuses on seafood and Sri Lankan flavours. We had the chilli prawns and cuttlefish and each dish was perfectly cooked. Just simple wholesome food that highlights local produce. The venue itself is very intimate, only several tables available so do book in advance and request... More

The setting on the river was very special. One family were launched off with their food on a candlelit raft in the lagoon . The menu is short and simple and the food was absolutely delicious . We particularly enjoyed the generous helpings of prawns. Service was good .

Only a few tables but directly at the lake front. I believe that reservations are recommended, we did not need one as we were there very early with our little daughter. The staff was friendly and helpful e.g. child seat was mounted. The food was excellent, the menu only with a few choices (lobster, prawns and fish) but that speaks... More

We ate here twice, and both times we loved the setting by the lake. Tables are few and set well apart, so privacy is guaranteed. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The menu is small, but just ask for any preferences and the owners will try to accommodate your tastes. My husband is rather unadventurous with food but was offered alternatives... More

We had a great seafood experience at DiyaSisila, very friendly family run restaurant, a short tuk tuk ride away from the beach hotel area. In fact it was so good we went again two days later, pre-ordered curry and really enjoyed the whole experience. Would recommend DS for great food at reasonable prices.

We were greeted in a passing thunderstorm by the family who had umbrellas and showed us to our platform table. Immediately it felt like we were dining in someone's garden. This is outside dining, so wear some repellant however they also light coils for extra protection. Amidst the rain, we enjoyed prawns, fish, cuttlefish and chicken schnitzel, all dishes served...
