great for large group

We have been a few times and always enjoyed the beer, food ,architecture and restoration. The menu is usual pub fare. Claim to fame is the beer and the choices available. This visit was enhanced by a really terrific waiter. Personable and friendly without being fawning. He paced the meal as we... read more

Friendly and attentive service. The building itself is very cool and the food is reasonably priced. Went for lunch with coworkers and was very pleased at how quickly the food came out. Pump Station Burger was delicious. Everyone else in our party was also very pleased with their meals. Great atmosphere.

Love the building. High ceilings and huge fire place. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Great burgers. Different home brewed beers each time you go.

Always a decent rotating selection of beer. Food can be very good, but consistency can be an issue. I'm will be back though .

We had a really fine meal here tonight. I had smothered pork, with jalapenos instead of the advertised banana peppers. My wife had the stuffed chicken breast. Everything tasted fine. Two minor complaints. First, both meals were variable in temperature. Second, we could not take our unfinished bottle of wine home because their liquor license didn't permit it. I have... More

The menu is full of interesting choices, but if you're Polish, and you see Golabki (stuffed cabbage) and Pierogi (like ravioli, but with potatoes inside) on the menu, you can't pass that up. I thought if they had them on the menu, they must know how to make them. I wasn't disappointed. The Golabki were just like my mother's and... More

I go to this place every time I go to Albany. Their food is pub food, but with a tweak towards high end. The decor is fantastic-high ceilings and brickwork everywhere. The dinner menu has a generous amount of fish options, and interesting ingredients to spice up things: Stuffed chicken breast with a smoked mozzarella-sausage herb stuffing, lobster and shrimp... Obviously, by the title, I like this place. It's an all around wonderful restaurant that is probably great for brew drinkers but I am a non-alcoholic. I have been here many times and consistently enjoy good food and a good atmosphere. I vacillated from 4 to 5 stars because it's not an ultra upscale restaurant but I decided on a... More
