My husband & I had dinner there last Sunday. Carolyn, our server, was an absolute delight and her service was exceptional. I had the Swordfish Picatta, which was the BEST swordfish I ever had! It was absolutely delicious!! My husband had a bloody mary (also...amongst the best ever, and a homemade mix, not a commercial mix, which is hard to find!). He had a great salad with salmon and loved every bit of it. Can't wait to go back!!More

Everyone loves the food. I'm not personally impressed but I am a novice chef and prepare all menu items I've tried better than they do. I've had the calamari which is a little fishy and bland. I've also has the catcitore, picatta and Florentine of...the three I think of aa mediocre the catcitore is the best. I've been twice and everyone with me thought the food is amazing. The drinks however are everything. The jalapeño margarita abs the raspberry mojito were DELICIOUS! COVID practices are of the highest that I have observed. Service is hit or miss I guess depending on who you get. First experience was of the highest level and 2nd was way below standards forgetting drinks, not checking in and leaving us unattended with empty glasses for what felt like ions in the sweltering heat. Waitress all but outright complained that that we were the problem for drinking too fast. Called me a lush for ordering two cocktails at once because she was too slow on the refill. Ill go back again and again during covid, good seating, ambiance, cleanliness, large portions and great cocktail menuMore

Warning. The owner of this restaurant doesn’t know about service dog laws or seem to care, even after being shown the law written. They even asked what’s wrong with me (as in, why do you need a service animal?). They denied my family seating outside...after waiting 45 mins for a table because we have a service animal. Then they told they don’t believe us - even after being shown the MD note & service certificateMore

My cousin and I decided to go for lunch at Lanie's on a Saturday. We arrived around 12:30 and were fortunate to get a table. My cousin had a rueben with chips and I had a house salad and a crock of French onion soup....We truly enjoyed our meals. Our server provided excellent service. She was polite and attentive. Going to Lanie's is always a treat!More

This locally respected, privately owned, off the beaten path restaurant is amazing! The lunch / dinner portions are most definitely worth the value. You can tell much of their food is homemade. The service is outstanding always! They do not take reservations for less than...8 - so arrive before 5pm to get a table. Whether you sit in the bar or in the dining room, the atmosphere is just as great as the food quality.More

We came here on a Saturday for lunch. Started off with the spinach artichoke dip which was excellent but a very large portion for two. I ordered the chopped salad which was huge, so I would recommend splitting or plan on taking some home. Wife...ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. Entire meal excellent with great service. Would return. 1 soft drink, bill came to $54.More

While visiting Albany we came here for dinner. It was a long wait (Saturday night and we did not have reservations). The restaurant was noisy but the food was very good. As others mentioned, the portions are large. We saw many people leaving with leftovers,...including us.More

There were 8 of us, a variety of items were ordered. I ordered the chicken parmigiana & eggplant rollitini which came with pasta, and a visit to the salad bar. The dinner was huge! After having the salad bar which had a very nice selection,...including Italian breads & cheese, I was almost full. Huge portions! I Brought all the leftovers to our hotel and my husband and I finished them for dinner. Pizza was ordered at our table which was very good as well. I'd definitely put Lanie's on the list for places to enjoy Italian food. Service was very good too considering how busy the restaurant was for a Sunday afternoon at 2pm. Our waitress was Mo, she was very attentive!More

We came here to meet with former neighbors. I can't believe we haven't tried this place before. Everything was very good and service was excellent at a crowded noon time. Most people leave with leftovers as did we. We will be back.

I can't remember seeing gluten free on the menu for pasta. However the menu is quite extensive, and this restaurant seems to me like they would definitely have gluten free options.
