Sitar Indian Restaurant, this was my second visit and I was very happy with food as I was there for first time. I love to try any food and this time I've ordered Farmaish Sitar Special (price is awesome $20.95) for trying 7 different dishes. I enjoyed every one of those dishes but beef curry and nan bread, vegetable curry... More

Authentic, delicious Indian food with a friendly staff. Despite the great reviews, we almost left before we even went in.... it's on a strip of road that has a LOT of abandoned building, and the building that houses the restaurant is sort of run down. So glad we took the chance! This is the best Indian we have found in... More

When we first began patronizing Sitar 25 years ago, it was the only Indian restaurant in the area. Now, there are quite a few, but perhaps only one other competes in ambiance. And no longer would Sitar be my first choice for the food. However, we were in the neighborhood so stopped in for our usual. Fine attentive and friendly... More

This was my first visit to and Indian restaurant. We had no idea about the food except what we read on their menu online. Our visit was a Sunday afternoon and they had a buffet brunch. This was a good way for us to sample a few of their dishes at one time. I was very surprised and pleased with... More

My mother was under the weather, but had a craving for Indian food. I normally greatly enjoy Indian food, too, so I ordered take-out from Sitar: lamb curry, paneer palak, onion kulcha, and mango lassi. It was the most tasteless Indian food I’ve ever eaten. Furthermore, the lamb curry was swimming in oil. The lassi mysteriously was put into a... More

Food is really awfully bad. It's not even close to real indian pakistani food. Waste of money and time. Nothing is to mention for going there.

I love the buffet and also ala carte. Everything is well made and the naans are absolutely the best. The ambience is very pleasing and the staff is warm and friendly. My friends and colleagues also took a liking when I introduced this place to them, so don't take just my word for it.

Quiet night when we went but the service and food was great! I ordered the tandoori sampler medium spicy and it was delicious. My business partner is vegetarian and he enjoyed the vegetarian sampler very much.

We were on a very long road trip from Missouri to Maine. We were very hungry and craving Indian Food near Albany New York. We asked Siri for "Indian Food" and she popped up Sitar Indian Restaurant as number one on the list. I was very nervous about trying Indian food at an "out of state" place, but we were... More
